I sent home a cutout I made of a flower petal/leaf and asked each child to decorate it or write a short thank you note or memory of their year. Then I printed out a class pic from a field trip and arranged it all using cute colored push pins. I bought the cork board at Michael's with a 40% off coupon and the rest at the dollar store. And the teacher can always reuse the board and the pins in his/her classroom. I also attached gift cards and donations around it.
