People can only meet you as deeply as they have met themselves. When people do not love themselves unconditionally they constantly seek validation from those around them and expect things from others without adding any value to the other person's life. They rely on attention and validation from others to feel good about themselves. They are not bad people. They just don't know how to create their own happiness
