The Best Of, Volume 1 — пятый сборник британской группы Depeche Mode. Альбом был выпущен 13 ноября 2006 года звукозаписывающей компанией Mute Records. До этого сборника были выпущены: Catching Up With Depeche Mode, People Are People, The Singles 81-85, The Singles 86-98.

Этот сборник включает в себя избранные хиты группы за 25-летнюю карьеру. Там есть и недавние хиты с альбома Playing the Angel, а так же новая песня Martyr, которая была записана во время работы над альбомом Playing the Angel. Эта песня была выпущена синглом в конце октября 2006 года.

Альбом был продан тиражом в 1 000 000 экземпляров в одной только Европе и здесь он стал платиновым.
