Thank you @Kendra Nicole for this AWESOME inspiration! #fyppppppppppppppppppppppp #diy #halloweendecor #spookydecor... | By Windy City Crafts | Start off with two metal paper towel holders from Dollar Tree and you want to go ahead and zip tie those together. I used a total of four zip ties to make sure it was nice and secure and then go ahead and spray paint these pieces black or you could paint them with some black chalk paint and allow that to dry. Then you want to grab the skeleton from Dollar Tree and you could hold them into place just using hot glue if you would like. But I also used a zip tie just for some extra support. I then got the foam pumpkin also came from Dollar Tree. I just added a generous amount of hot glue to his hands and just held the pumpkin in place until the glues are completely dry. Then grabbed one of these LED lights from Dollar Tree. It was originally white. I painted it with some black chalk paint and then painted the light itself with an orange paint pen. Also grabbed this bowl from Dollar Tree and just loosely zip tied it to the top. If you tighten it too much you won't be able to push the button for the light to go on. Then just drape some creepy cloth on top of it. And now you just created this adorable skeleton lamp. I think this came out really cute. It's super unique. It was really easy to create and it was super inexpensive. I hope this inspires you to create your own in your own special way. If it did please be sure to sprinkle the love. Thank you so much and I hope you all have a good rest of your day. Thanks. Bye.

150K views · 2.2K reactions | upcycled glass bottle/fall craft | I love to upcycle, so I used a glass bottle and created a fun scarecrow. He turned out so cute! I hope you give this one a try. Enjoy! | By D & L Create | Hi, everyone. It's Lynn. We're gonna make another really cute scarecrow today. You will need a glass bottle, preferably one with somewhat of a neck and some brown paper. I am using a brown paper bag but you can use craft paper and you can get that at Dollar Tree and we're just gonna mod podge the paper right onto the bottle. Um I wasn't overly concerned with the wrinkles and the creases and the paper cuz I think it kinda makes it look a little bit more authentic I guess as a scarecrow and you're just gonna mod podge the whole bottle and wrap the paper right around it. Uh cut off the excess and then make sure that you mod podge the edges down. And then I just cut the excess off the top and bottom. Um on the bottom I kinda just you know tucked it underneath the bottle and at the top I added a little more Mod Podge and just gathered the paper right up around the beginning of the neck there. And then you're going to Mod Podge right over the top of the paper. And then next thing I did while that was drying um was I made a circle out of some burlap and after I cut it out, I used the cap from the bottle to make a smaller circle in the center. And then that's gonna fit right over the top of the bottle to be the brim of his hat. Just add a little hot glue and just let it rest right on the, you know, the top part as where the bottle starts to curve and now, we are going to add some rope and I got my rope at Harbor Freight. It's a little on the stiff side but you can get that softer rope that they sell at Dollar Tree and you're just gonna hot glue it all the way around and work your way up to the top and then just kinda tuck all of the straight edges in with some hot glue. And then I added a little bit of um Spanish moss to make his hair and I just used hot glue and because my material had that crease in it, I guess it was just the way I had it folded. I kinda just went it and glued it up on top of the rope but you could leave it floppy if you want and then I took a sharpie and drew his face. I did go over everything with black acrylic paint but I cannot free hand with a thin paint brush so I drew everything on first. I just outlined everything and filled in the eyes and I painted his nose orange. And then what I did was I uh took the sharpie and I just made like little stitch lines right across the mouth so it looked like it was sewn on. Then, I dipped the end of a paintbrush into some white acrylic paint and just made two little dots in his eyes. And then I just added a piece of uh ribbon around his neck and then took a smaller piece of ribbon and tied it into a knot and made a little bow tie. I added a little button to the bow and a leaf to the top of his hat. And then I just frayed his hat a little bit to make it look tattered and I love him. I think he's very handsome and dapper. I hope you like em too and I hope I inspire you to make one. Don't forget to bounce our page around. Thanks for watching everyone. Have a great day and we'll see you next time. Buh bye.
