HERE’S HOW TO GROW YOUR OWN GINGER: 👇

🫚Soak Organic Ginger in Water for 24 hours. Make sure the ginger has lots of little whitish nubs, which are its growing points.

🫚Next step is to bury your soaked ginger in some organic pre-moistened seed starting mix. I recommend placing it on a heat mat to speed up germination. Cover with cling-wrap or a humidity dome. Don’t let soil dry out.

Keep in mind that this is baby ginger, as what you typically find at the grocery store with the tougher skin on the outside takes about 18 months of frost-free growth. Luckily you will find that baby ginger is very easy to work with and has a sweet spicy flavor and tinder texture.  It doesn’t require peeling. We typically keep it in the freezer and then use a microplane to grate it into food.
