I started to make these tall travel mugs at the request of my dear friend, Libby , who I respect and admire in 1000 ways. She loves dogs, books and plants and pottery... All things that also make me happy. This is a 14 ounce Handthrown ceramic Tumblr style coffee mug with an attached lid. I've rolled the top piece of clay with a hand cut wooden roller with leaves on it. The finished project is just lovely as this glaze really adds some dimension to the top piece. The glaze is a rust red color. Perfect for autumn. Food safe and dishwasher safe.
