I have a block of our Swiss cheese. You can feel free to do any kind of cheese here. I just love Swiss cheese. In addition, I have my Vermont white cheddar extra sharp with that. Ooh, I love these cheeses together. It's perfect for this recipe. I'm also coming in with one stick of butter just like so right into our crockpot and then I have my heavy whipping cream you do need some liquid to make sure that that scalloped potato is beautifully cooked with our onions our cheese our butter I love making this recipe for the holidays my friends and family absolutely rave about this dish for every holiday every year. I use that entire container so one pint of our heavy whipping cream in addition I have just seasoning packets for our scalloped potatoes. You can feel free to do your own seasoning blend but I love using their pockets. I mean, it comes with them for a reason, am I right? So, I'm just going in and making sure that we have all that beautifully covered with our cheese, our butter, our onions, and our scalloped potatoes before we go in with our lid. Ooh, this is already smelling absolutely delicious. We are going to place this on low. See, make sure we're on low and we are going for maybe two, three hours until it up on high. Oh my goodness. I love putting this with like a protein. Or even a carb. But oh I mean that just looks absolutely delicious. Alright, it's going to be super super hot but it's going to be cheesy.
