[origin: WO2004110802A1] The invention relates to a fastening device for parts to be mounted in a fuel tank (1) of a motor vehicle. The fastening device comprises a fastening element (7), a head part (10), which is joined to the wall of the fuel tank (1), and a head part (11) that is placed on the part. Head part (10) and head part (11), which is provided for fastening a line (4) to be lead through the wall of the fuel tank, have a continuous duct (12). Head part (10) and head part (11) are pressed together and are made from a material that swells when brought into contact with fuel. This enables the line (4) to be easily fastened to a wall of the fuel tank (1) whereby being sealed with regard thereto.
