[origin: EP0884808A2] A circuit-board zero-insertion force (ZIF) pluggable connector including a swivel mechanism actuated by an actuating device (8) in order to bring the circuit board. ZIF-connector (1;11,14) from an assembly position, allowing insertion or removal of a circuit board (3), into a proper circuit board contact-making connection position or vice versa. The swivel mechanism parts (141,146) to be moved by the actuating device are at least partly equipped with guide devices (142,147) which are designed to be changed about in position in or on the guide devices provided on the actuating device.
