A crutch for patients with a walking impediment has a support part (1) on the upper end of a cane (3) and a ground piece (2) on the lower end of a cane (3). In order to extend the range of movements of a patient with a walking impediment or with muscular weakness by means of a controllable extension of the crutch it is provided, according to the invention, that the cane (3) comprise an outer support pipe (4) connected with the support part (1) and a lifting pipe (5) which can be displaced telescopically relative to the support pipe and is located therein, that drive means (9) be located in the region of the support part (1) and at least partially in the outer support pipe (4) and can be actuated by control means (17-19) fixed to the outside of the support pipe (4). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Eine Gehstütze/-stock für Gehbehinderte weist ein Auflageteil (1) am oberen und ein Bodenaufsatzstück (2) am unteren Ende eines Stockes (3) auf. Zur Erweiterung der Bewegungsmöglichkeiten eines behinderten oder muskelschwachen Menschen durch steuerbare Verlängerung der Gehstütze ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, daß der Stock (3) aus einem mit dem Auflageteil (1) verbundenen äußeren Stützrohr (4) und einem teleskopartig relativ zu diesem verschiebbaren, innerhalb des Stützrohres (4) angeordneten Hubrohr (5) besteht, daß Antriebsmittel (9) im Bereich des Auflageteils (1) und wenigstens teilweise im äußeren Stützrohr (4) untergebracht und von außen am Stützrohr (4) befestigten Steuermitteln (17-19) betätigbar sind. <IMAGE>
