Fuel injection systems with intermittent or sequential injection, characterised in that the metering member is designed as an electromagnetic metering valve (11) and is subject to the differential pressure between a fuel supply system and a distributor chamber (22) for the injection valves, in that the injection valves (9) open and close automatically as a function of the fuel pressure and their connections to the distributor chamber (22) can be blocked, in that the blocking is cancelled as a function of the ignition sequence for in each case one injection valve (9) and in that, within the period in which the blocking is cancelled, the metering valve (11) meters the fuel intended for the cylinder concerned. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Brennstoffeinspritzsysteme mit intermittierender bzw. sequentieller Einspritzung dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Zumeßglied als elektromagnetisches Zumeßventil (11) ausgebildet und dem Differenzdruck zwischen einem Brennstoffversorgungssystem und einer Verteilerkammer (22) für die Einspritzventile ausgesetzt ist, daß die Einspritzventile (9) in Abhängigkeit vom Brennstoffdruck selbsttätig öffnen und schließen und deren Verbindungen zur Verteilerkammer (22) verriegelbar sind, daß die Verriegelung in Abhängigkeit von der Zündfolge für jeweils ein Einspritzventil (9) aufgehoben wird und daß das Zumeßventil (11) innerhalb der Zeitspanne, in der die Verriegelung aufgehoben wird, den für den betreffenden Zylinder bestimmten Brennstoff zumißt.
