Abstract (en)
1. A tub support (1, 6) for various kinds of bath tubs (18) having substantially the same outer dimensions, consisting of a body - defined by rectangular outer surfaces (2, 3, 7) - of polystyrene particle foam with a density of 15 to 50 kg/m**3 which is designed to be covered from above by introduction of a bath tube (18) into the opening (4) provided - widened at (5) to receive the overflow pipe - and which is formed underneath with openings (11) of which one serves as an assembly compartment (9), the upper opening (4) designed symmetrically in relation to the vertical central longitudinal plane being defined by the envelope surface of those externally situated points obtained when all tub contours of bath tubs (18) to be differently introduced are superposed, characterized in that the two longitudinal outer surfaces (3) are differently shaped and in that a widening (5) of the upper opening (4) is internally provided in each of the two narrow sides (2) to accommodate the overflow pipe (25) and has an assembly compartment associated therewith.
