Jason Neville
Jason is also a nationally-recognized ADU expert. He co-founded and ran Building Blocks, a Los Angeles-based ADU design, permitting, and construction company, where he worked on over a dozen ADUs and was featured in the Washington Post. In addition to building ADUs, Jason brings experience designing and implementing ADU affordability programs, such as the ADU Accelerator Program and the Backyard Homes Project. He was also part of the Innovation Team in Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti’s office that convened the team that delivered a prototype ADU that was named FastCompany’s World Changing Idea in 2018.
Jason has taught at the USC Price School of Policy and the Tulane University Sustainable Real Estate Development Program. He is a graduate of University of New Orleans (Bachelor’s in Urban Studies) and USC Price School of Policy (Master of Urban Planning). Jason lives in New Orleans with his wife and two children.
