Wiki Loves Monuments (WLM) is an annual international photographic competition held during the month of September, organized worldwide by Wikimedia chapters, groups, and local Wikipedia volunteers. People take photos of monuments, upload those to Wikimedia Commons, and then they can be used in Wikipedia and elsewhere. According to the Guinness Book of Records, the 2011 edition of the Wiki Loves Monuments broke the world record for the largest photography competition. In 2013, the Wiki Loves Monuments competition was held across six continents including Antarctica and had official participation from more than fifty countries around the world. |

There are lots of historic and archaeological monuments in all participating countries. The goal of Wiki Loves Monuments is to encourage people to take pictures of those monuments and to put them under a free license so that others may access them through the internet. This year Bangladesh is also participating this competition for 4th time and this page introduces the Bangladeshi part of this competition. The local competition is being supported & organized by Wikimedia Bangladesh with the help of the Bangla Wikipedia community members. |

Wiki Loves Monuments (WLM) is an annual international photographic competition held during the month of September, organized worldwide by Wikimedia chapters, groups, and local Wikipedia volunteers. People take photos of monuments, upload those to Wikimedia Commons, and then they can be used in Wikipedia and elsewhere. According to the Guinness Book of Records, the 2011 edition of the Wiki Loves Monuments broke the world record for the largest photography competition. In 2013, the Wiki Loves Monuments competition was held across six continents including Antarctica and had official participation from more than fifty countries around the world.
