It's already time for the tenth edition of the Face to Face campaign, run by German Films. Having started in 2016, the promotional agency for German talent in TV and cinema annually showcases some of its most promising filmmakers. In that time, the meeting during the Berlinale has established itself as an important platform to give German film talent international visibility. On the occasion of the campaign's anniversary, a new batch of seven individuals from different disciplines, such as screenwriting, directing and cinematography, will be presented. The talents are presented to the international film industry during a panel event where they will be able to network and meet colleagues from everywhere.
“We have a lively and diverse film scene in Germany. Of course, this diversity and creativity are also fuelled by the filmmakers. We have talents in all trades who always have new ideas, who are curious, who are constantly rethinking and reshaping the medium of film and cinema,” says Simone Baumann, managing director of German Films. “We at German Films see it as our task to promote these talents from the German film industry and to accompany them on their way to becoming successful filmmakers. We are proud to be able to present seven talents as ambassadors of our campaign this year, all of whom stand for innovation in the film industry.”
This year's seven talents are Berlin-based actor Aaron Altaras, who played in the internationally successful Netflix series Unorthodox [+lee también:
