LITTLE ODDFELLOWS // The space is bright and inviting; the staff friendly; the café menu ranging from scrumptious coffee accompaniments to the lite-fare lunch (many carry-overs from our favorite next door). Speaking of, this new coffee shop has taken another out of the 'elder' Oddfellows' playbook: an ethos of "Come. Stay. Enjoy." I have been here for hours and have experienced nothing but welcome. Oh...and did I mention it's in the back corner of our beloved Elliott Bay Book Company?! Perfect.

STREET BEAN // Street Bean is a excellent coffee shop in Belltown. Besides a wall of windows to die for and a great Americano, it's a little coffee shop with a big purpose. As a nonprofit, multi-roaster cafe, they provide job training for street-involved youth, offering them not only tangible, marketable skills but the opportunity to discover and use their gifts one cup of espresso at a time.
