Happy Saturday everyone!! Only 9 school days left until Christmas break friends, and three of those days are half days. WOO I'm so thrilled! Every year over Christmas break we send home a Family Snowman Project. During class, we read the book, Snowballs, by Lois Elhert. This book shows different snowmen, and snowgirls, made out of all types of "good stuff" that had been collected. We then talk about different things they can find around their house to decorate their snowman. During our snow storm, I have tried desperately to find ways to entertain the kids and keep them off of their electronics most of the day light hours. You'd think the snow would deter them, but sometimes, it's just too darn cold to play in the snow. HAHAHA. YES, I really said that.
