Measurement of $V_{cb}$ from the decay process $\bar{B^0} \to D^{*+} \ell^- \bar{\nu}$ / DELPHI Collaboration
A new precise measurement of |V_{cb}| and of the branching ratio BR(\bar{B^0} -> D^{*+} \ell^- \bar{\nu_\ell}) has been performed using a sample of about 5000 semileptonic decays \bar{B^0} -> D^{*+} \ell^- \bar{\nu_\ell}, selected by the DELPHI detector at LEP I by tagging the soft pion from D^{*+} -> D^0 \pi^+. The results are: V_{cb}=(39.0 +/- 1.5 (stat.) ^{+2.5}_{-2.6} (syst. [...]

Measurement of the $\overline{B} \to D^{(*)}\pi l\overline{\nu}_l$ Branching Fraction / DELPHI Collaboration
A study of $b$ semileptonic decays into $D$, $D\pi^{\pm}$ and $D^*\pi^{\pm}$ final states is presented.The $D^0$, $D^+$ and $D^{*+}$ mesons are exclusively reconstructed in $Z$ decay data recorded from 1992 to 1995in the DELPHI experiment at LEP. The overall branching fractions are measured to be: $BR(b -> D^0 \ell^- \bar{\nu}_{\ell} X) = (7.04 +/- 0.34 (stat) +/- 0.36 (syst.exp) +/- 0.17 (BR_D))\%,$ $BR(b -> D^+ \ell^- \bar{\nu}_{\ell} X) = (2.72 +/- 0.19 (stat) +/- 0.16 (syst.exp) +/- 0.18 (BR_D))\%$, $BR(b -> D^{*+} \ell^- \bar{\nu}_{\ell} X) = (2.75 +/- 0.17 (stat) +/- 0.13 (syst.exp) +/- 0.09 (BR_D))\%$ where the $D^0$ and $D^+$ results include also contributions from $D^{*0}$ and $D^{*+}$ decays..

Determination of |$V_{ub}$|/|$V_{cb}$| with DELPHI at LEP / DELPHI Collaboration
The ratio of the CKM quark-mixing matrix elements |V_{ub}|/|V_{cb}|has been measured using B hadron semileptonic decays.The analysis is based on a novel technique, recently proposed by theoreticians, that uses the reconstructed mass M_X ofthe secondary hadronic system produced in association with an identified lepton.Since B rightarrow X_u \ell \bar \nu transitions are characterisedby hadronic masses below those of the $D$ mesons produced inB \rightarrow X_c \ell \bar \nu transitions, events with a reconstructed value of M_X significantly below the D massare selected.Further signal enrichments are obtained using thetopology of reconstructed decays and hadron identification.A fit to the numbers of decays in the b\to u enriched and depleted samples with M_X above and below 1.6 GeV/c^2and to the shapes of the lepton energy distribution in the Brest frame gives |V_{ub}|/|V_{cb}|= \mathrm{0.103^{+0.011}_{-0.012}~(stat.)\pm0.016~(syst.)\pm0.010~(mo del)}%The model dependance of $b \rightarrow u \ell \bar \nu$%is significantly reduced with this method.and, correspondingly, a charmless semileptonic $B$ decay branching fractionof BR($B \rightarrow X_u \ell \bar \nu) = \mathrm{(1.57 \pm 0.35~(stat.)\pm0.48~(syst.)\pm0.27~(model))\times 10^{-3}}$..

Measurement of the semileptonic b branching fractions and average b mixing parameter in Z decays / DELPHI Collaboration
The semileptonic branching fractions for primary and cascade b decays BR(b -> lepton-), BR(b -> c -> lepton+) and BR(b -> cbar -> lepton-) were measured in hadronic Z decays collected by the DELPHI experiment at LEP. The sample was enriched in b decays using the lifetime information and various techniques were used to separate leptons from direct or cascade b decays [...]

A Measurement of the Tau Topological Branching Ratios / DELPHI Collaboration
Using data collected in the DELPHI detector at LEP-1, measurements of the inclusive tau branching ratios for decay modes containing one, three, or five charged particles have been performed, giving the following results: B_1 = B(\tau^- -> (particle)^- \geq 0pi^0 \geq 0K^0 \nu_\tau(\bar{\nu})) = (85.316 +/- 0.093 +/- 0.049)%; B_3 = B(\tau^- -> 2h^-h^+ \geq 0pi^0 \geq 0K^0 \nu_\tau) = (14.569 +/- 0.093 +/- 0.048)%; B_5 = B(\tau^- -> 3h^-2h^+ \geq 0pi^0 \geq 0K^0 \nu_\tau) = (0.115 +/- 0.013 +/- 0.006)%, where h is either a charged pi or K meson. The first quoted uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic..

Midrapidity antiproton-to-proton ratio in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 0.9$ and $7$~TeV measured by the ALICE experiment / ALICE collaboration
The ratio of the yields of antiprotons to protons in pp collisions has been measured by the ALICE experiment at $\sqrt{s} = 0.9$ and $7$~TeV during the initial running periods of the Large Hadron Collider(LHC). The measurement covers the transverse momentum interval $0.45 < p_{\rm{t}} < 1.05$~GeV/$c$ and rapidity $|y| < 0.5$. [...]

Search for neutralino pair production at $\sqrt{s}$ = 189 GeV / DELPHI Collaboration
A search for pair-production of neutralinos at a LEP centre-of-mass energy of 189 GeV gave no evidence for a signal. This limits the neutralino production cross-section and excludes regions in the parameter space of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM)..
