New Results from the STEREO Experiment / Bernard, Laura (LPSC, Grenoble) /STEREO Collaboration
In the past decades, short baseline neutrino oscillation studies around experimental or commercial reactor cores have revealed two anomalies. The first one is linked to the absolute flux and the second one to the spectral shape. [...]

Neutrino oscillation from reactor experiments, the reactor anomaly, and light sterile neutrinos / Minotti, Alessandro (speaker) (LAPP)
From the discovery of the neutrino to the measure of the last of the neutrino mixing parameters, nuclear reactors have proved indispensable in the study of these particles, of which much remains to be unveiled. Recent and past measurements using reactor neutrinos rely on the prediction of their spectrum, a non-trivial exercise involving ad- hoc methods and carefully-selected assumptions [...]

Latest Results from the Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment / Ochoa, Pedro (speaker) (Pontificia Univ. Catolica de Chile (CL))
Among all the fundamental particles that have been experimentally observed, neutrinos remain one of the least understood. The Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment in China consists of eight identical detectors placed underground at different baselines from three groups of nuclear reactors, a configuration that is ideally suited for studying the properties of these elusive particles [...]

Updated global analysis of neutrino oscillations in the presence of eV-scale sterile neutrinos / Dentler, Mona (Mainz U., Inst. Phys. ; U. Mainz, PRISMA) ; Hernández-Cabezudo, Álvaro (KIT, Karlsruhe, IKP) ; Kopp, Joachim (Mainz U., Inst. Phys. ; U. Mainz, PRISMA ; CERN) ; Machado, Pedro A.N. (Fermilab) ; Maltoni, Michele (Madrid, IFT) ; Martinez-Soler, Ivan (Madrid, IFT) ; Schwetz, Thomas (KIT, Karlsruhe, IKP)
We discuss the possibility to explain the anomalies in short-baseline neutrino oscillation experiments in terms of sterile neutrinos. We work in a 3+1 framework and pay special attention to recent new data from reactor experiments, IceCube and MINOS+. [...]

The reactor neutrino anomaly: status and recent developments / Dentler, M (Mainz U.) ; Alvaro Hernandez-Cabezudo, A (KIT, Karlsruhe) ; Kopp, J (Mainz U. ; CERN) ; Machado, P (Fermilab) ; Maltoni, M (Madrid, IFT) ; Martinez-Soler, I (Madrid, IFT) ; Schwetz, T (KIT, Karlsruhe)
The observed antineutrino flux from nuclear reactors is consistently lower thanpredicted. This anomaly could hint at oscillations of active neutrinos into anew sterile neutrino species, or it could simply be a reflection ofunderestimated systematic uncertainties in the theoretical flux prediction. [...]

Current Status and Future of Sterile Neutrino Searches / Chatterjee, Animesh (Ahmedabad, Phys. Res. Lab ; CERN)
A number of anomalous results in short-baseline oscillation may hint at the existence of one or more light sterile neutrino states in the eV mass range and have triggered a wave of new experimental efforts to search for a definite signature of oscillations between active and sterile neutrino states . This new neutrino would have to be a Standard Model gauge singlet, thus it is referred to as sterile. [...]

Observation of a Significant Excess of Electron-Like Events in the MiniBooNE Short-Baseline Neutrino Experiment / Katori, Teppei (speaker) (Queen Mary University of London)
The MiniBooNE experiment at Fermilab reports results from an analysis of electron neutrino (nue) appearance data from 1.3E21 protons on target (POT) in neutrino mode, an increase of approximately a factor of two over previously reported results (PRL110(2013)161801). A nue charged-current quasi-elastic  (CCQE) event excess of 381.2 +/- 85.2 events (4.5sigma) is observed in the energy range 200 < EnuQE < 1250 MeV. Combining these data with the electron anti-neutrino (nuebar) appearance data from 1.1E21 POT in antineutrino mode, a total nue plus nuebar CCQE event excess of 460.5 +/- 95.8 events (4.8 sigma) is observed [...]

Decaying Sterile Neutrinos and the Short Baseline Oscillation Anomalies / Dentler, Mona (Inst. Astrophys. Gottingen) ; Esteban, Ivan (ICC, Barcelona U.) ; Kopp, Joachim (CERN ; U. Mainz, PRISMA ; Mainz U.) ; Machado, Pedro (Fermilab)
The MiniBooNE experiment has observed a significant excess of electron neutrinos in a muon neutrino beam at source-detector distances too short to be compatible with standard neutrino oscillations. The most straightforward explanation for this signal in terms of oscillations between Standard Model neutrinos and a new, sterile, neutrino, is disfavored by null results from experiments looking for muon neutrino disappearance.
