Isomers close to the doubly magic nucleus $^{78}$Ni ($Z=28$, $N=50$) provide essential information on the shell evolution and shape coexistence far from stability. The existence of a long-lived isomeric state in $^{76}$Cu has been debated for a long time. [...]

High-precision mass measurements of exotic $^{95-97}$Ag isotopes close to the $N = Z$ line have been conducted with the JYFLTRAP double Penning trap mass spectrometer, with the silver ions produced using the recently commissioned inductively-heated hot cavity catcher laser ion source at the Ion Guide Isotope Separator On-Line facility. The atomic mass of $^{95}$Ag was directly determined for the first time. [...]

Isomers close to doubly-magic $^{78}_{28}$Ni$_{50}$ provide essential information on the shell evolution and shape coexistence near the ${Z=28}$ and ${N=50}$ double shell closure. We report the excitation energy measurement of the $1/2^{+}$ isomer in $^{79}_{30}$Zn$_{49}$ through independent high-precision mass measurements with the JYFLTRAP double Penning trap and with the ISOLTRAP Multi-Reflection Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometer. Nuclear charge radius of $^{26m}$Al and its implication for V$_{ud}$ in the quark-mixing matrix / Plattner, P. (CERN ; Innsbruck U. ; Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Wood, E. (Liverpool U.) ; Ayoubi, L. Al (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Beliuskina, O. (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Bissell, M.L. (Manchester U. ; CERN) ; Blaum, K. (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Campbell, P. (Manchester U.) ; Cheal, B. (Liverpool U.) ; de Groote, R.P. (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Devlin, C.S. (Liverpool U.) et al.
Collinear laser spectroscopy was performed on the isomer of the aluminium isotope $^{26m}$Al. The measured isotope shift to $^{27}$Al in the $3s^{2}3p\;^{2}\!P^\circ_{3/2} \rightarrow 3s^{2}4s\;^{2}\!S_{1/2}$ atomic transition enabled the first experimental determination of the nuclear charge radius of $^{26m}$Al, resulting in $R_c$=\qty{3.130±.015}{\femto\meter}. Mass measurements towards doubly magic $^{78}$Ni: Hydrodynamics versus nuclear mass contribution in core-collapse supernovae / Giraud, S (GANIL ; Michigan State U., NSCL) ; Canete, L (Jyvaskyla U. ; Surrey U.) ; Bastin, B (GANIL) ; Kankainen, A (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Fantina, A F (GANIL) ; Gulminelli, F (LPC, Caen) ; Ascher, P (CENBG, Gradignan) ; Eronen, T (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Girard-Alcindor, V (GANIL ; IJCLab, Orsay ; Darmstadt, Tech. U.) ; Jokinen, A (Jyvaskyla U.) et al.
We report the first high-precision mass measurements of the neutron-rich nuclei $^{74,75}$Ni and the clearly identified ground state of $^{76}$Cu, along with a more precise mass-excess value of $^{78}$Cu, performed with the double Penning trap JYFLTRAP at the Ion Guide Isotope Separator On-Line (IGISOL) facility. These new results lead to a quantitative estimation of the quenching for the $N=50$ neutron shell gap. [...]

$\beta$ and $\gamma$-spectroscopy study of $^{119}$Pd and $^{119}$Ag / Kurpeta, J (Warsaw U.) ; Abramuk, A (Warsaw U.) ; Rząca-Urban, T (Warsaw U.) ; Urban, W (Warsaw U.) ; Canete, L (Surrey U.) ; Eronen, T (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Geldhof, S (Leuven U.) ; Gierlik, M (NCBJ, Swierk) ; Greene, J P (Argonne (main)) ; Jokinen, A (Jyvaskyla U.) et al.
Neutron-rich $^{119}$Pd nuclei were produced in fission of natural uranium, induced by 25-MeV protons. Fission fragments swiftly extracted with the Ion Guide Isotope Separation On-Line method were mass separated using a dipole magnet and a Penning trap, providing mono-isotopic samples of $^{119}$Pd. (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Nesterenko, D.A. (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Moore, I.D. (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Rinta-Antila, S. (Jyvaskyla U.) et al.
The ground-state-to-ground-state $\beta$-decay $Q$-value of $^{135}\textrm{Cs}(7/2^+)\to\,^{135}\textrm{Ba}(3/2^+)$ was directly measured for the first time utilizing the Phase-Imaging Ion-Cyclotron Resonance (PI-ICR) technique at the JYFLTRAP Penning-trap setup. It is the first direct determination of this $Q$-value and its value of 268.66(30)\,keV is a factor of three more precise than the currently adopted $Q$-value in the Atomic Mass Evaluation 2016. The JYFLTRAP double Penning trap at the Ion Guide Isotope Separator On-Line (IGISOL) facility has been used to measure the atomic masses of 13 neutron-rich rare-earth isotopes. Eight of the nuclides, $^{161}$Pm, $^{163}$Sm, $^{164,165}$Eu, $^{167}$Gd, and $^{165,167,168}$Tb, were measured for the first time. [...]

Proton-neutron pairing correlations in the self-conjugate nucleus $^{42}$Sc / Koszorus, Agota (Liverpool U.) ; Vormawah, Liam (Liverpool U.) ; Beerwerth, Randolf (Helmholtz Inst., Jena) ; Bissell, Mark (Manchester U.) ; Campbell, Paul (Manchester U.) ; Cheal, Bradley (Liverpool U.) ; Devlin, Charlie (Liverpool U.) ; Eronen, Tommi (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Fritzsche, Stephan (Helmholtz Inst., Jena) ; Geldhof, Sarina (Jyvaskyla U. ; Leuven U.) et al.
Collinear laser spectroscopy of the $N=Z=21$ self-conjugate nucleus $^{42}$Sc has been performed at the JYFL IGISOL IV facility in order to determine the change in nuclear mean-square charge radius between the $I^{\pi}=0^{+}$ ground state and the $I^{\pi}=7^{+}$ isomer via the measurement of the $^{42\mathrm{g},42\mathrm{m}}$Sc isomer shift. New multi-configurational Dirac-Fock calculations for the atomic mass shift and field shift factors have enabled a recalibration of the charge radii of the $^{42-46}$Sc isotopes which were measured previously.
