Cosmology with the Laser Interferometer Space Antenna / LISA Cosmology Working Group Collaboration
The Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) has two scientific objectives of cosmological focus: to probe the expansion rate of the universe, and to understand stochastic gravitational-wave backgrounds and their implications for early universe and particle physics, from the MeV to the Planck scale. However, the range of potential cosmological applications of gravitational wave observations extends well beyond these two objectives. [...]

Theory, phenomenology, and experimental avenues for dark showers: a Snowmass 2021 report / Albouy, Guillaume (LPSC, Grenoble) ; Barron, Jared (Toronto U.) ; Beauchesne, Hugues (NCTS, Taipei) ; Bernreuther, Elias (Fermilab) ; Bona, Marcella (Queen Mary, U. of London) ; Cazzaniga, Cesare (Zurich, ETH) ; Cesarotti, Cari (Harvard U.) ; Cohen, Timothy (Oregon U.) ; de Cosa, Annapaola (Zurich, ETH) ; Curtin, David (Toronto U.) et al.
In this work, we consider the case of a strongly coupled dark/hidden sector, which extends the Standard Model (SM) by adding an additional non-Abelian gauge group. These extensions generally contain matter fields, much like the SM quarks, and gauge fields similar to the SM gluons. [...]

The Forward Physics Facility at the High-Luminosity LHC / Feng, Jonathan L. (UC, Irvine) ; Kling, Felix (DESY) ; Reno, Mary Hall (Iowa U.) ; Rojo, Juan (NIKHEF, Amsterdam ; Vrije U., Amsterdam) ; Soldin, Dennis (Delaware U.) ; Anchordoqui, Luis A. (Lehman Coll.) ; Boyd, Jamie (CERN) ; Ismail, Ahmed (Oklahoma State U.) ; Harland-Lang, Lucian (Oxford U. ; Oxford U., Theor. Phys.) ; Kelly, Kevin J. (CERN) et al.
High energy collisions at the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (LHC) produce a large number of particles along the beam collision axis, outside of the acceptance of existing LHC experiments. The proposed Forward Physics Facility (FPF), to be located several hundred meters from the ATLAS interaction point and shielded by concrete and rock, will host a suite of experiments to probe Standard Model (SM) processes and search for physics beyond the Standard Model (BSM) [...]

The Forward Physics Facility: Sites, experiments, and physics potential / Anchordoqui, Luis A. The Forward Physics Facility (FPF) is a proposal to create a cavern with the space and infrastructure to support a suite of far-forward experiments at the Large Hadron Collider during the High Luminosity era. Located along the beam collision axis and shielded from the interaction point by at least 100 m of concrete and rock, the FPF will house experiments that will detect particles outside the acceptance of all existing LHC experiments and will observe rare and exotic processes in an extremely low-background environment. Ricci Reheating / Opferkuch, Toby (CERN) ; Schwaller, Pedro (U. Mainz, PRISMA) ; Stefanek, Ben A. (U. Mainz, PRISMA)
We present a model for viable gravitational reheating involving a scalar field directly coupled to the Ricci curvature scalar. Crucial to the model is a period of kination after inflation, which causes the Ricci scalar to change sign thus inducing a tachyonic effective mass $m^{2} \propto -H^2$ for the scalar field. [...]

Searching for long-lived particles beyond the Standard Model at the Large Hadron Collider / Alimena, Juliette (Ohio State U.) ; Beacham, James (Duke U.) ; Borsato, Martino (Heidelberg U.) ; Cheng, Yangyang (Cornell U., LNS) ; Cid Vidal, Xabier (Santiago de Compostela U.) ; Cottin, Giovanna (Adolfo Ibanez U. ; Chile U., Catolica ; Taiwan, Natl. Particles beyond the Standard Model (SM) can generically have lifetimes that are long compared to SM particles at the weak scale. When produced at experiments such as the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN, these long-lived particles (LLPs) can decay far from the interaction vertex of the primary proton-proton collision. [...]

Mainz, PRISMA)
We explore gravitational wave signals arising from first-order phase transitions occurring in a secluded hidden sector, allowing for the possibility that the hidden sector may have a different temperature than the Standard Model sector. We present the sensitivity to such scenarios for both current and future gravitational wave detectors in a model-independent fashion. [...]

Antwerp (main)) ; Hahn, Kristian (Northwestern U.) ; McCullough, Matthew (CERN) ; Schwaller, Pedro (U. Mainz, PRISMA) ; Sung, Kevin (Northwestern U.) ; Yu, Tien-Tien (CERN)
We propose a systematic programme to search for long-lived neutral particle signatures through a minimal set of displaced searches requiring significant missing transverse energy (dMETs). Our approach is to extend the well-established dark matter simplified models to include displaced vertices. [...]
