(ICC, Barcelona U.) ; Miyagi, T. (Darmstadt, Tech. U. ; Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst. ; Darmstadt, GSI) ; Assié, M. (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Ciemała, M. (Cracow, INP) ; Flavigny, F. The excited states of unstable $^{20}$O were investigated via $\gamma$-ray spectroscopy following the $^{19}$O$(d,p)^{20}$O reaction at 8 $A$MeV. By exploiting the Doppler Shift Attenuation Method, the lifetime of the 2$^+_2$ and 3$^+_1$ states were firmly established. [...]

Shape evolution in even-mass $^{98-104}$Zr isotopes via lifetime measurements using the $\gamma \gamma $-coincidence technique / Pasqualato, G. (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Ansari, S. (IRFU, Saclay) ; Heines, J.S. (Oslo U.) ; Modamio, V. (Oslo U.) ; Görgen, A. (Oslo U.) ; Korten, W. (IRFU, Saclay) ; Ljungvall, J. (IJCLab, Orsay ; Strasbourg, IPHC) ; Clément, E. (GANIL) ; Dudouet, J. (IP2I, Lyon) ; Lemasson, A. (GANIL) et al.
The Zirconium (Z = 40) isotopic chain has attracted interest for more than four decades. The abrupt lowering of the energy of the first $2^+$ state and the increase in the transition strength B(E2; $2_1^\rightarrow 0_1^+$ going from $^{98}$Zr to $^{100}$Zr has been the first example of "quantum phase transition" in nuclear shapes, which has few equivalents in the nuclear chart. Spectroscopic quadrupole moments in Xe124 / Clément, E (GANIL) ; Lemasson, A (GANIL) ; Rejmund, M (GANIL) ; Jacquot, B (GANIL) ; Ralet, D (GANIL) ; Michelagnoli, C (GANIL ; Laue-Langevin Inst.) ; Barrientos, D (CERN) ; Bednarczyk, P (Cracow, INP) ; Benzoni, G (INFN, Milan) ; Boston, A J (Liverpool U.) et al.
Background: The Xe isotopic chain with four valence protons above the Z=50 shell closure is an ideal laboratory for the study of the evolution of nuclear deformation. At the N=82 shell closure, Xe136 presents all characteristics of a doubly closed shell nucleus with a spherical shape. [...]

Search for $^{22}$Na in novae supported by a novel method for measuring femtosecond nuclear lifetimes / Fougères, Chloé (GANIL ; Argonne, PHY) ; de Oliveira Santos, François (GANIL) ; José, Jordi (Barcelona U. ; Barcelona, IEEC) ; Michelagnoli, Caterina (Laue-Langevin Inst.) ; Clément, Emmanuel (GANIL) ; Kim, Yung Hee (GANIL ; IBS, Daejeon, CENS) ; Lemasson, Antoine (GANIL) ; Guimarães, Valdir (Sao Paulo U.) ; Barrientos, Diego (CERN) ; Bemmerer, Daniel (HZDR, Dresden) et al.
Classical novae are thermonuclear explosions in stellar binary systems, and important sources of $^{26}$Al and $^{22}$Na. While gamma rays from the decay of the former radioisotope have been observed throughout the Galaxy, $^{22}$Na remains untraceable. [...]

Atomic Phys. ; Istanbul U.) ; Zhang, W (Stockholm, Res. Inst. Atomic Phys.) ; Clément, E (GANIL) ; de France, G (GANIL) ; Ralet, D (CSNSM, Orsay) et al.
Excited states in the neutron-deficient nucleus $^{87}$Tc have been studied via the fusion-evaporation reaction $^{54}$Fe($^{36}$Ar, 2$n$1p) $^{87}$Tc at 115 MeV beam energy. The AGATA γ -ray spectrometer coupled to the DIAMANT, NEDA, and Neutron Wall detector arrays for light-particle detection was used to measure the prompt coincidence of $\gamma$ rays and light particles. Evidence of Partial Seniority Conservation in the $\pi{g}_{9/2}$ Shell for the $N=50$ Isotones / Pérez-Vidal, R M (Valencia U., IFIC ; INFN, Legnaro) ; Gadea, A (Valencia U., IFIC) ; Domingo-Pardo, C (Valencia U., IFIC) ; Gargano, A (INFN, Naples ; Carlos III U., Madrid) ; Valiente-Dobón, J J (INFN, Legnaro) ; Clément, E (GANIL) ; Lemasson, A (GANIL) ; Coraggio, L (INFN, Naples ; Carlos III U., Madrid ; Napoli Seconda U.) ; Siciliano, M (Argonne, PHY) ; Szilner, S (Boskovic Inst., Zagreb) et al.
The reduced transition probabilities for the $4^+_1 \to 2^+_1$ and $2^+_1 \to 0^+_1$ transitions in $^{92}$Mo and $^{94}$Ru and for the $4^+_1 \to 2^+_1$ and $6^+_1 \to 4^+_1$ transitions in $^{90}$Zr have been determined in this experiment making use of a multinucleon transfer reaction. These results have been interpreted on the basis of realistic shell-model calculations in the $f_{5/2}, p_{3/2}, p_{1/2},$ and $g_{9/2}$ proton valence space. [...]

Reinterpretation of excited states in $^{212}$Po: Shell-model multiplets rather than $\alpha$-cluster states / Fernández, A (CSIC, Madrid) ; Jungclaus, A (CSIC, Madrid) ; Golubev, P (Lund U.) ; Rudolph, D (Lund U.) ; Sarmiento, L G (Lund U.) ; Gargano, A (INFN, Naples) ; Naïdja, H (Constantine U.) ; Astier, A (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Dupont, E (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Gadea, A (Valencia U., IFIC) et al.
A $\gamma$ -ray spectroscopic study of $^{212}$Po was performed at the Grand Accélérateur National d’Ions Lourds, using the inverse kinematics α-transfer reaction $^{12}$C($^{208}$Pb, $^{212}$Po) $^8$Be and the AGATA spectrometer. A careful analysis based on $\gamma \gamma$ coincidence relations allowed us to establish 14 new excited states in the energy range between 1.9 and 3.3 MeV. [...]

The low-lying excited states in the neutron-deficient $N=Z+1$ nucleus $^{87}_{43}$Tc$^{\ }_{44}$ have been studied via the fusion-evaporation reaction $^{54}$Fe($^{36}$Ar, $2n1p$)$^{87}$Tc at the Grand Accélérateur National d'Ions Lourds (GANIL), France. The AGATA spectrometer was used in conjunction with the auxiliary NEDA, Neutron Wall, and DIAMANT detector arrays to measure coincident prompt $\gamma$-rays, neutrons, and charged particles emitted in the reaction.
