(Belarus State U.) ; Tehrani, N.Alipour (CERN) ; Balázs, C. (Monash U.) ; Benhammou, Y. (Tel Aviv U.) ; Benoit, M. (Geneva U.) ; Bilki, B. (Argonne) ; Blaising, J.J. (Annecy, LAPP) ; Boland, M.J. The Compact Linear Collider (CLIC) is an option for a future e+e- collider operating at centre-of-mass energies up to 3 TeV, providing sensitivity to a wide range of new physics phenomena and precision physics measurements at the energy frontier. This paper is the first comprehensive presentation of the Higgs physics reach of CLIC operating at three energy stages: sqrt(s) = 350 GeV, 1.4 TeV and 3 TeV. [...]

First results of the CALICE SDHCAL technological prototype / CALICE Collaboration
The CALICE Semi-Digital Hadronic Calorimeter (SDHCAL) prototype, built in 2011, was exposed to beams of hadrons, electrons and muons in two short periods in 2012 on two different beam lines of the CERN SPS. The prototype with its 48 active layers, made of Glass Resistive Plate Chambers and their embedded readout electronics, was run in triggerless and power-pulsing mode [...]

Light-flavor squark reconstruction at CLIC / Simon, Frank Richard (Munich, Max Planck Inst.) ; Weuste, Lars (Munich, Max Planck Inst.)
We present a simulation study of the prospects for the mass measurement of TeV-scale light- flavored right-handed squark at a 3 TeV e+e collider based on CLIC technology. The analysis is based on full GEANT4 simulations of the CLIC_ILD detector concept, including Standard Model physics backgrounds and beam-induced hadronic backgrounds from two- photon processes. [...]

Pion and proton showers in the CALICE scintillator-steel analogue hadron calorimeter / CALICE Collaboration
Showers produced by positive hadrons in the highly granular CALICE scintillator-steel analogue hadron calorimeter were studied. The experimental data were collected at CERN and FNAL for single particles with initial momenta from 10 to 80 GeV/c. [...]

The Time Structure of Hadronic Showers in Highly Granular Calorimeters with Tungsten and Steel Absorbers / CALICE Collaboration
The intrinsic time structure of hadronic showers influences the timing capability and the required integration time of hadronic calorimeters in particle physics experiments, and depends on the active medium and on the absorber of the calorimeter. With the CALICE T3B experiment, a setup of 15 small plastic scintillator tiles read out with Silicon Photomultipliers, the time structure of showers is measured on a statistical basis with high spatial and temporal resolution in sampling calorimeters with tungsten and steel absorbers.
