CEPC Technical Design Report: Accelerator / CEPC Study Group Collaboration
The Circular Electron Positron Collider (CEPC) is a large scientific project initiated and hosted by China, fostered through extensive collaboration with international partners. The complex comprises four accelerators: a 30 GeV Linac, a 1.1 GeV Damping Ring, a Booster capable of achieving energies up to 180 GeV, and a Collider operating at varying energy modes (Z, W, H, and ttbar). [...]

Anomalous $H\to ZZ \to 4\ell$ decay and its interference effects on gluon–gluon contribution at the LHC / He, Hua-Rong (Xian, Shaanxi Norm. U.) ; Wan, Xia (Xian, Shaanxi Norm. U.) ; Wang, You-Kai (Xian, Shaanxi Norm. U.)
We calculate the spinor helicity amplitudes of anomalous $H\to ZZ \to 4\ell$ decay. After embedding these analytic formulas into the $\texttt{MCFM}$ package, we study the interference effects between the anomalous $gg\to H\to ZZ \to 4\ell$ process and the SM processes, which are indispensable in the Higgs off-shell region. The performance of the CMS muon detector in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV at the LHC / CMS Collaboration
The performance of all subsystems of the CMS muon detector has been studied by using a sample of proton--proton collision data at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV collected at the LHC in 2010 that corresponds to an integrated luminosity of approximately 40 inverse picobarns. The measured distributions of the major operational parameters of the drift tube (DT), cathode strip chamber (CSC), and resistive plate chamber (RPC) systems met the design specifications. [...]

Measurement of the $\Upsilon$(1S), $\Upsilon$(2S), and $\Upsilon$(3S) cross sections in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV / CMS Collaboration
The $\Upsilon$(1S), $\Upsilon$(2S), and $\Upsilon$(3S) production cross sections are measured using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 35.8 $\pm$ 1.4 inverse picobarns of proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV, collected with the CMS detector at the LHC. The Upsilon resonances are identified through their decays to dimuons. [...]

A New Boson with a Mass of 125 GeV Observed with the CMS Experiment at the Large Hadron Collider / CMS Collaboration
The Higgs boson was postulated nearly five decades ago within the framework of the standard model of particle physics and has been the subject of numerous searches at accelerators around the world. Its discovery would verify the existence of a complex scalar field thought to give mass to three of the carriers of the electroweak force—the W+, W–, and Z0 bosons—as well as to the fundamental quarks and leptons. Studies of jet mass in dijet and W/Z+jet events / CMS Collaboration
Invariant mass spectra for jets reconstructed using the anti-kt and Cambridge-Aachen algorithms are studied for different jet "grooming" techniques in data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5 inverse femtobarns, recorded with the CMS detector in proton-proton collisions at the LHC at a center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV. Leading-order QCD predictions for inclusive dijet and W/Z+jet production combined with parton-shower Monte Carlo models are found to agree overall with the data, and the agreement improves with the implementation of jet grooming methods used to distinguish merged jets of large transverse momentum from softer QCD gluon radiation..

Measurement of associated production of vector bosons and $t\bar{t}$ at $\sqrt{s}$= 7 TeV / CMS Collaboration
The first measurement of vector-boson production associated with a top quark-antiquark pair in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV is presented. The results are based on a dataset corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.0 inverse femtobarns, recorded by the CMS detector at the LHC in 2011. [...]

Results are presented of a search for the production of new particles decaying to pairs of partons (quarks, antiquarks, or gluons), in the dijet mass spectrum in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 8 TeV. The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 4.0 inverse femtobarns, collected with the CMS detector at the LHC in 2012. [...]
