Tests of General Relativity with GWTC-3 / LIGO Scientific Collaboration
The ever-increasing number of detections of gravitational waves (GWs) from compact binaries by the Advanced LIGO and Advanced Virgo detectors allows us to perform ever-more sensitive tests of general relativity (GR) in the dynamical and strong-field regime of gravity. [...]

Search for Subsolar-Mass Binaries in the First Half of Advanced LIGO’s and Advanced Virgo’s Third Observing Run / LIGO Scientific Collaboration
We report on a search for compact binary coalescences where at least one binary component has a mass between 0.2 $M_\odot$ and 1.0 $M_\odot$ in Advanced LIGO and Advanced Virgo data collected between 1 April 2019 1500 UTC and 1 October 2019 1500 UTC. We extend previous analyses in two main ways: we include data from the Virgo detector and we allow for more unequal mass systems, with mass ratio $q \geq 0.1$. [...]

Irradiation aging of the CMS Drift Tube muon detector / Ferrero, D.D. Redondo ; Abbiendi, G. ; Maestre, J. Alcaraz ; Fernández, A. Álvarez ; González, B. Álvarez ; Amapane, N. ; Bachiller, I. ; Barcala, J.M. ; Barcellan, L. ; Battilana, C. et al.
During the High Luminosity LHC, the Drift Tube chambers installed in the CMS detector need to operate with an integrated dose ten times higher than expected at the LHC due to the increase in integrated luminosity from 300 fb${-1}$ to 3000 fb$^{-1}$. Irradiations have been performed to assess the performance of the detector under such conditions and to characterize the radiation aging of the detector. [...]

The CMS drift tubes (DT) muon detector, built for withstanding the LHC expected integrated and instantaneous luminosities, will be used also in the High Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) at a 5 times larger instantaneous luminosity and, consequently, much higher levels of radiation, reaching about 10 times the LHC integrated luminosity. Initial irradiation tests of a spare DT chamber at the CERN gamma irradiation facility (GIF++), at large ($\sim$O(100)) acceleration factor, showed ageing effects resulting in a degradation of the DT cell performance. Performance of the CMS muon detector and muon reconstruction with proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=$ 13 TeV / CMS Collaboration
The CMS muon detector system, muon reconstruction software, and high-level trigger underwent significant changes in 2013-2014 in preparation for running at higher LHC collision energy and instantaneous luminosity. The performance of the modified system is studied using proton-proton collision data at center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s}=$ 13 TeV, collected at the LHC in 2015 and 2016. [...]

Evidence for associated production of a Higgs boson with a top quark pair in final states with electrons, muons, and hadronically decaying $\tau$ leptons at $\sqrt{s} = $ 13 TeV / CMS Collaboration
Results of a search for the standard model Higgs boson produced in association with a top quark pair ($\mathrm{t\overline{t}}$H) in final states with electrons, muons, and hadronically decaying $\tau$ leptons are presented. The analyzed data set corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 35.9 fb$^{-1}$ recorded in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} =$ 13 TeV by the CMS experiment in 2016. [...]

Search for new long-lived particles at $\sqrt{s} =$ 13 TeV / CMS Collaboration
A search for long-lived particles was performed with data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.6 fb$^{-1}$ collected at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV by the CMS experiment in 2015. The analysis exploits two customized topological trigger algorithms, and uses the multiplicity of displaced jets to search for the presence of a signal decay occurring at distances between 1 and 1000 mm.
