We here report on the progress of the HHH Workshop, that took place in Dubrovnik in July 2023. After the discovery of a particle that complies with the properties of the Higgs boson of the Standard Model, all SM parameters are in principle determined. [...]

Oxford (main)) ; Scyboz, Ludovic (Monash U.) et al.
We report on a major milestone in the construction of logarithmically accurate final-state parton showers, achieving next-to-next-to-leading-logarithmic (NNLL) accuracy for the wide class of observables known as event shapes. [...]

Introduction to the PanScales framework, version 0.1 / van Beekveld, Melissa (Nikhef, Amsterdam) ; Dasgupta, Mrinal (Manchester U.) ; El-Menoufi, Basem Kamal (Manchester U. ; Monash U.) ; Ravasio, Silvia Ferrario (CERN) ; Hamilton, Keith (U. In this article, we document version 0.1 of the PanScales code for parton shower simulations. With the help of a few examples, we discuss basic usage of the code, including tests of logarithmic accuracy of parton showers. [...]

Parton Showering Meets QCD / Soyez, Gregory (speaker) (IPhT, CEA Saclay)
Monte Carlo event generators are central tools in today's particle physics community. In this talk, I will focus on their central part, the parton shower algorithm. [...]

Parton Showering with Higher Logarithmic Accuracy for Soft Emissions / Ferrario Ravasio, Silvia (CERN) ; Hamilton, Keith (University Coll. London) ; Karlberg, Alexander (CERN) ; Salam, Gavin P. (Oxford U., Theor. Phys. ; Oxford U.) ; Scyboz, Ludovic (Oxford U., Theor. Phys.) ; Soyez, Gregory (CERN ; IPhT, Saclay)
The accuracy of parton-shower simulations is often a limiting factor in the interpretation of data from high-energy colliders. We present the first formulation of parton showers with accuracy one order beyond state-of-the-art next-to-leading logarithms, for classes of observable that are dominantly sensitive to low-energy (soft) emissions, specifically non-global observables and subjet multiplicities. Lund multiplicity in QCD jets / Medves, Rok (Oxford U., Theor. Phys.) ; Soto-Ontoso, Alba (CERN) ; Soyez, Gregory (CERN ; IPhT, Saclay)
We compute the average Lund multiplicity of high-energy QCD jets. This extends an earlier calculation, done for event-wide multiplicity in $e^+e^-$ collisions [arxiv:2205.02861], to the large energy range available at the LHC. [...]

We show that the same QCD formalism that accounts for the suppression of high-$p_T$ hadron and jet spectra in heavy-ion collisions predicts medium-enhanced production of $c\bar{c}$ pairs in jets..

Calculating the primary Lund Jet Plane density / Lifson, Andrew (Lund U., Dept. Theor. Phys.) ; Salam, Gavin P. (Oxford U., Theor. Phys. ; CERN ; Paris, LPTHE) ; Soyez, Gregory (IPhT, Saclay)
The Lund-jet plane has recently been proposed as a powerful jet substructure tool with a broad range of applications. In this paper, we provide an all-order single logarithmic calculation of the primary Lund-plane density in Quantum Chromodynamics, including contributions from the running of the coupling, collinear effects for the leading parton, and soft logarithms that account for large-angle and clustering effects.
