Beam test performance of prototype silicon detectors for the Outer Tracker for the Phase-2 Upgrade of CMS / CMS Tracker Group Collaboration
A new CMS tracker detector will be installed for operation at the High Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC). This detector comprises modules with two closely spaced parallel sensor plates and front-end ASICs capable of transmitting tracking information to the CMS Level-1 (L1) trigger at the 40 MHz beam crossing rate. [...]

The DAQ and control system for the CMS Phase-1 pixel detector upgrade / Adam, W (Vienna, OAW) ; Bergauer, T (Vienna, OAW) ; Blöch, D (Vienna, OAW) ; Brondolin, E (Vienna, OAW) ; Dragicevic, M (Vienna, OAW) ; Frühwirth, R (Vienna, OAW) ; Hinger, V (Vienna, OAW) ; Steininger, H (Vienna, OAW) ; Beaumont, W (Antwerp U.) ; Croce, D Di (Antwerp U.) et al. /CMS
In 2017 a new pixel detector was installed in the CMS detector. This so-called Phase-1 pixel detector features four barrel layers in the central region and three disks per end in the forward regions. [...]

Precision measurement of the structure of the CMS inner tracking system using nuclear interactions / CMS Collaboration
The structure of the CMS inner tracking system has been studied using nuclear interactions of hadrons striking its material. Data from proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV recorded in 2015 at the LHC are used to reconstruct millions of secondary vertices from these nuclear interactions. [...]

Characterisation of irradiated thin silicon sensors for the CMS phase II pixel upgrade / Adam, W (Vienna, OAW) ; Bergauer, T (Vienna, OAW) ; Brondolin, E (Vienna, OAW) ; Dragicevic, M (Vienna, OAW) ; Friedl, M (Vienna, OAW) ; Frühwirth, R (Vienna, OAW) ; Hoch, M (Vienna, OAW) ; Hrubec, J (Vienna, OAW) ; König, A (Vienna, OAW) ; Steininger, H (Vienna, OAW) et al. /Tracker Group
The high luminosity upgrade of the Large Hadron Collider, foreseen for 2026, necessitates the replacement of the CMS experiment’s silicon tracker. The innermost layer of the new pixel detector will be exposed to severe radiation, corresponding to a 1 MeV neutron equivalent fluence of up to $\Phi _{eq} = 2 \times 10^{16}$  cm$^{-2}$ , and an ionising dose of ${\approx } 5$  MGy after an integrated luminosity of 3000 fb$^{-1}$ . P-Type Silicon Strip Sensors for the new CMS Tracker at HL-LHC / Adam, W (Vienna, OAW) ; Bergauer, T (Vienna, OAW) ; Brondolin, E (Vienna, OAW) ; Dragicevic, M (Vienna, OAW) ; Friedl, M (Vienna, OAW) ; Frühwirth, R (Vienna, OAW) ; Hoch, M (Vienna, OAW) ; Hrubec, J (Vienna, OAW) ; König, A (Vienna, OAW) ; Steininger, H (Vienna, OAW) et al. /CMS
The upgrade of the LHC to the High-Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) is expected to increase the LHC design luminosity by an order of magnitude. This will require silicon tracking detectors with a significantly higher radiation hardness. [...]

Exclusive and semi-exclusive $\pi^{+}\pi^{-}$ production in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = $ 7 TeV / CMS Collaboration
A measurement is presented of the exclusive and semi-exclusive production of charged pion pairs in proton-proton collisions, $\mathrm{ p p }\to\mathrm{ p }({\mathrm{p}^*} )+ \pi^{+}\pi^{-}+ \mathrm{ p } ({\mathrm{p}^*} )$, where the $\pi^{+} \pi^{-}$ pair is emitted at central rapidities, and the scattered protons stay intact ($\mathrm{p}$) or diffractively dissociate (${\mathrm{p}^*} $) without detection. Search for supersymmetry with multiple charged leptons in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}= $ 13 TeV / CMS Collaboration
Results are reported from a search for physics beyond-the-standard-model, such as supersymmetry, in final states with at least three charged leptons, in any combination of electrons or muons. The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 2.3 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{ s} = $ 13 TeV, recorded by the CMS experiment at the LHC in 2015. [...]

Search for light bosons in decays of the 125 GeV Higgs boson in proton-proton collisions at $ \sqrt{s} = $ 8 TeV / CMS Collaboration

Light boson masses between 5 and 62.5 GeV are probed in final states containing four tau leptons, two muons and two b quarks, or two muons and two tau leptons. [...]
