Progress in generating gauge ensembles with Stabilized Wilson Fermions / Francis, Anthony (NYCU, Hsinchu) ; Cuteri, Francesca (Frankfurt U.) ; Fritzsch, Patrick (TCD, Dublin) ; Pederiva, Giovanni (Julich, Forschungszentrum) ; Rago, Antonio (Odense U. ; CERN) ; Shindler, Andrea (RWTH Aachen U.) ; Walker-Loud, Andre (LBNL, Berkeley) ; Zafeiropoulos, Savvas (Marseille, CPT)
The continued generation of $N_f=2+1$ quark flavor gauge configurations using stabilized Wilson fermions by the open lattice initiative (OpenLat) is reported. We present the status of our ongoing production and show updates on increasing statistics at the four lattice spacings $a=0.12, 0.094, 0.077$ and $0.064$ fm. [...]

Shapes and sizes of diquarks in lattice QCD / Francis, Anthony (NYCU, Hsinchu) ; de Forcrand, Philippe (CERN) ; Lewis, Randy (York U., Toronto (main)) ; Maltman, Kim (York U., Toronto (main) ; Adelaide U., Sch. Chem. Phys.)
The idea of diquarks as effective degrees of freedom in QCD has been a successful concept in explaining observed hadron spectra. Recently they have also played an important role in studying doubly heavy tetraquarks in phenomenology and on the lattice. [...]

Substantial progress has been made recently in the generation of master-field ensembles. This has to be paired with efficient techniques to compute observables on gauge field configurations with a large volume. [...]

Lattice Evidence for Bound Heavy Tetraquarks / Francis, Anthony (CERN) ; Hudspith, Renwick J (York U., Canada) ; Lewis, Randy (York U., Canada) ; Maltman, Kim (York U., Canada ; Adelaide U., Sch. Chem. Phys.)
We investigate the possibility of $qq'\bar{Q}\bar{Q}'$ tetraquark bound states using $n_f = 2 + 1$ lattice QCD with pion masses $\simeq 164, 299$ and 415 MeV. Two types of lattice interpolating operator are chosen, reflecting first diquarkantidiquark and second meson-meson structure. [...]

Ruling out some predictions of deeply-bound light-heavy tetraquarks using lattice QCD / Colquhoun, Brian (York U., Canada) ; Francis, Anthony (U. Bern, AEC ; CERN ; NYCU, Hsinchu) ; Hudspith, Renwick (Mainz U., Inst. Kernphys. ; U. Mainz, PRISMA) ; Lewis, Randy (York U., Canada) ; Maltman, Kim (York U., Toronto (main) ; Adelaide U., Sch. Chem. Phys.)
We discuss our lattice QCD calculations of a number of tetraquark channels with at least one heavy quark where some phenomenological models, already fully constrained by fits to the ordinary meson and baryon spectrum, predict deep binding. We find no evidence of deeply-bound tetraquarks, except in previously established strong-interaction stable $I=0$, $J^P=1^+$, $ud\bar{b}\bar{b}$ and $I=1/2$, $J^P=1^+$ $\ell s\bar{b}\bar{b}$ (where $\ell=u/d$) channels, allowing us to rule out models predicting deep binding. Properties, ensembles and hadron spectra with Stabilised Wilson Fermions / Francis, Anthony Sebastian (U. In this joint contribution we announce the formation of the "OPEN LATtice initiative", https://openlat1.gitlab.io, to study Stabilised Wilson Fermions (SWF). They are a new avenue for QCD calculations with Wilson-type fermions and we report results on our continued study of this framework: Tuning the clover improvement coefficient, and extending the reach of lattice spacings to $a=0.12$ fm. We study good, bad and not-even-bad diquarks on the lattice in a gauge-invariant formalism in full QCD. We establish their spectral masses with short extrapolations to the physical point, observing agreement with phenomenological expectations. [...]
