CEPC Technical Design Report: Accelerator
/ CEPC Study Group Collaboration
The Circular Electron Positron Collider (CEPC) is a large scientific project initiated and hosted by China, fostered through extensive collaboration with international partners. The complex comprises four accelerators: a 30 GeV Linac, a 1.1 GeV Damping Ring, a Booster capable of achieving energies up to 180 GeV, and a Collider operating at varying energy modes (Z, W, H, and ttbar). [...]

FLAG Review 2021
/ Flavour Lattice Averaging Group (FLAG) Collaboration
We review lattice results related to pion, kaon, $D$-meson, $B$-meson, and nucleon physics with the aim of making them easily accessible to the nuclear and particle physics communities. More specifically, we report on the determination of the light-quark masses, the form factor $f_+(0)$ arising in the semileptonic $K \to \pi$ transition at zero momentum transfer, as well as the decay constant ratio $f_K/f_\pi$ and its consequences for the CKM matrix elements $V_{us}$ and $V_{ud}$. / Chai, Yahui (Peking U.) ; Li, Yuan (Peking U.) ; Xia, Shicheng (Peking U.) ; Alexandrou, Constantia (Cyprus Inst. ; Cyprus U.) ; Cichy, Krzysztof (Mickiewicz U., Poznan ; CERN) ; Constantinou, Martha (Temple U.) ; Feng, Xu (Peking U. ; Peking U., Beijing ; CICQM, Beijing ; Peking U., CHEP) ; Hadjiyiannakou, Kyriakos (Cyprus Inst.) ; Jansen, Karl (NIC, Zeuthen) ; Koutsou, Giannis (Cyprus Inst.) et al.
We present results for renormalized matrix elements related to the unpolarized quasi-distribution function of the $\Delta^+$ baryon making use of the large momentum effective theory. Two ensembles of $N_f=2+1+1$ twisted mass fermions with a clover term and pion masses of 250 MeV and 330 MeV are analyzed. [...]

Monovalent $Li^+$ codoped $Lu_3Al_5O_{12}$:Ce (LuAG:Ce) optical ceramics were fabricated by solid state reaction method and further optimized by an air-annealing process. Optical absorption, radioluminescence spectra and scintillation properties such as light yield, scintillation decay times and afterglow were measured and compared with those of the $Li^+$ free LuAG:Ce ceramic and the commercial LuAG:Ce single crystal samples. Non-stoichiometric $Lu_{3+x}Al_{5}O_{12}:Ce$ ($Lu_{3+x}$AG:Ce, x=1, 2, 3 and 4 %) ceramics were fabricated by solid state reaction method and further optimized by an air-annealing process. Absorption, luminescence spectra and scintillation characteristics such as light yield, scintillation decay times, energy resolution, proportionality and afterglow were measured and compared with those of the latest LuAG:Ce single crystal and stoichiometric LuAG:Ce,Mg ceramic samples. Towards Bright and Fast Lu3Al5O12:Ce,Mg Optical Ceramics Scintillators
/ Liu, Shuping ; Mares, Jiri A. ; Feng, Xiqi ; Vedda, Anna ; Fasoli, Mauro ; Shi, Yun ; Kou, Huamin ; Beitlerova, Alena ; Wu, Lexiang ; D'Ambrosio, Carmelo (CERN) et al.
The recent advent of Lu 3 Al 5 O 12 :Ce optical ceramics marks a turning point in scintillator material technology. Because of their lower preparation tem-perature, brightness, and robustness such materials can now compete with single crystals. [...]
