Gauge $SU(2)_f$ flavour transfers / Darmé, Luc (IP2I, Lyon) ; Deandrea, Aldo (IP2I, Lyon ; Johannesburg U.) ; Mahmoudi, Farvah (IP2I, Lyon ; CERN)
We introduce the idea of flavour transfer from a non-abelian horizontal $SU(2)_f$ flavour gauge group embedded in the Standard Model flavour structure. The new flavour vector bosons, in the mass range from the tens of GeV to multi-TeV do not induce large flavour-changing currents and meson oscillations, which usually provide the dominant constraints on this type of structure. Particle physics today faces the challenge of explaining the mystery of dark matter, the origin of matter over anti-matter in the Universe, the origin of the neutrino masses, the apparent fine-tuning of the electro-weak scale, and many other aspects of fundamental physics. Perhaps the most striking frontier to emerge in the search for answers involves new physics at mass scales comparable to familiar matter, below the GeV-scale, or even radically below, down to sub-eV scales, and with very feeble interaction strength. The Forward Physics Facility at the High-Luminosity LHC / Feng, Jonathan L. (UC, Irvine) ; Kling, Felix (DESY) ; Reno, Mary Hall (Iowa U.) ; Rojo, Juan (NIKHEF, Amsterdam ; Vrije U., Amsterdam) ; Soldin, Dennis (Delaware U.) ; Anchordoqui, Luis A. (Lehman Coll.) ; Boyd, Jamie (CERN) ; Ismail, Ahmed (Oklahoma State U.) ; Harland-Lang, Lucian (Oxford U. ; Oxford U., Theor. Phys.) ; Kelly, Kevin J. (CERN) et al.
High energy collisions at the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (LHC) produce a large number of particles along the beam collision axis, outside of the acceptance of existing LHC experiments. The proposed Forward Physics Facility (FPF), to be located several hundred meters from the ATLAS interaction point and shielded by concrete and rock, will host a suite of experiments to probe Standard Model (SM) processes and search for physics beyond the Standard Model (BSM) [...]

Implementation of the CMS-TOP-18-003 analysis in the MadAnalysis 5 framework (four top quarks with at least two leptons; 137 fb$^{−1}$) / Darmé, Luc (Frascati) ; Fuks, Benjamin (Paris, LPTHE ; Inst. U. de France)
We present the implementation in MadAnalysis 5 of the CMS-TOP-18-003 search for the production of four top quarks in the Standard Model and detail the validation of this implementation. This CMS analysis studies Standard Model four-top production through the same-sign and multi-lepton plus jets channels, using a luminosity of 137 fb−1 of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. We report on the status of efforts to improve the reinterpretation of searches and measurements at the LHC in terms of models for new physics, in the context of the LHC Reinterpretation Forum. We detail current experimental offerings in direct searches for new particles, measurements, technical implementations and Open Data, and provide a set of recommendations for further improving the presentation of LHC results in order to better enable reinterpretation in the future. Light Dark Sectors through the Fermion Portal / Darmé, Luc (Frascati) ; Ellis, Sebastian A.R. (SLAC) ; You, Tevong (CERN ; Cambridge U., DAMTP ; Cambridge U.)
Pairs of Standard Model fermions form dimension-3 singlet operators that can couple to new dark sector states. This "fermion portal" is to be contrasted with the lower-dimensional Higgs, vector and neutrino singlet portals. [...]

The successful operation of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and the excellent performance of the ATLAS, CMS, LHCb and ALICE detectors in Run-1 and Run-2 with $pp$ collisions at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8 and 13 TeV as well as the giant leap in precision calculations and modeling of fundamental interactions at hadron colliders have allowed an extraordinary breadth of physics studies including precision measurements of a variety physics processes. The LHC results have so far confirmed the validity of the Standard Model of particle physics up to unprecedented energy scales and with great precision in the sectors of strong and electroweak interactions as well as flavour physics, for instance in top quark physics.
