Manifestation of the Berry phase in the atomic nucleus $^{213}$Pb / Valiente-Dobón, J.J. (INFN, Legnaro) ; Gottardo, A. (INFN, Legnaro) ; Benzoni, G. (INFN, Milan) ; Gadea, A. (Valencia U., IFIC) ; Lunardi, S. (Padua U. ; INFN, Padua) ; Algora, A. (Valencia U., IFIC) ; de Angelis, G. (INFN, Legnaro) ; Bazzacco, D. (INFN, Padua) ; Benlliure, J. (Santiago de Compostela U., IGFAE) ; Boutachkov, P. (Darmstadt, GSI) et al.
The neutron-rich $^{213}$Pb isotope was produced in the fragmentation of a primary 1 GeV $A$ $^{238}$U beam, separated in FRS in mass and atomic number, and then implanted for isomer decay $\gamma$-ray spectroscopy with the RISING setup at GSI. A newly observed isomer and its measured decay properties indicate that states in $^{213}$Pb are characterized by the seniority quantum number that counts the nucleons not in pairs coupled to angular momentum $J=0$. Testing ab initio nuclear structure in neutron-rich nuclei: lifetime measurements of second 2$^+$ states in $^{16}$C and $^{20}$O / Ciemala, M. (Cracow, INP) ; Ziliani, S. (Milan U. ; INFN, Milan) ; Crespi, F.C.L. (Milan U. ; INFN, Milan) ; Leoni, S. (Milan U. ; INFN, Milan) ; Fornal, B. (Cracow, INP) ; Maj, A. (Cracow, INP) ; Bednarczyk, P. (Cracow, INP) ; Benzoni, G. (INFN, Milan) ; Bracco, A. (Milan U. ; INFN, Milan) ; Boiano, C. (INFN, Milan) et al.
To test the predictive power of ab initio nuclear structure theory, the lifetime of the second 2+ state in neutron-rich 20O, tau(2+_2 ) = 150(+80-30) fs, and an estimate for the lifetime of the second 2+ state in 16C have been obtained, for the first time. The results were achieved via a novel Monte Carlo technique that allowed us to measure nuclear state lifetimes in the tens-to-hundreds femtoseconds range, by analyzing the Doppler-shifted gamma-transition line shapes of products of low-energy transfer and deep-inelastic processes in the reaction 18O (7.0 MeV/u) + 181Ta. New spectroscopic information on $^{211,213}\mathrm{Tl}$: A changing structure beyond the $N=126$ shell closure / Gottardo, A (INFN, Legnaro ; Padua U.) ; Valiente-Dobón, J J (INFN, Legnaro) ; Benzoni, G (INFN, Milan) ; Morales, A I (INFN, Milan) ; Gadea, A (Valencia U., IFIC) ; Lunardi, S (Padua U. ; INFN, Padua) ; Boutachkov, P (Darmstadt, GSI) ; Bruce, A M (Brighton U.) ; Górska, M (Darmstadt, GSI) ; Grebosz, J (Cracow, INP) et al.
The neutron-rich isotopes $^{211,213}\mathrm{Tl}$, beyond the $N=126$ shell closure, have been studied for the first time in isomer $\gamma$-ray decay, exploiting the fragmentation of a primary uranium beam at the Fragment Separator-Rare Isotopes Investigation at GSI setup. The observed isomeric states in $^{211,213}\mathrm{Tl}$ show a deviation from the seniority-like scheme of $^{209}\mathrm{Tl}$. [...]

Multinucleon transfer processes in the $^{197}$ Au+$^{130}$Te reaction studied with a high-resolution kinematic coincidence / Galtarossa, F (INFN, Legnaro ; Ferrara U.) ; Corradi, L (INFN, Legnaro) ; Szilner, S (Boskovic Inst., Zagreb) ; Fioretto, E (INFN, Legnaro) ; Pollarolo, G (Turin U. ; INFN, Turin) ; Mijatovic, T (Boskovic Inst., Zagreb) ; Montanari, D (Padua U. ; INFN, Padua) ; Ackermann, D (GANIL ; Ciril-Lab. Mixte CEA-CNRS) ; Bourgin, D ; Courtin, S et al.
Multinucleon transfer processes in the $^{197}$Au+$^{130}$Te at E$_{lab}$ =1.07 GeV system were studied with the PRISMA magnetic spectrometer in coincidence with an ancillary particle detector. For neutron transfer channels we extracted total cross sections and compared them with calculations performed with the GRAZING code. [...]
