(SLAC ; KIPAC, Menlo Park) ; Akimov, D.Yu. (Moscow Phys. Eng. Inst.) ; Akshat, J. (Purdue U.) ; Musalhi, A.K. Al (Oxford U.) et al.
The nature of dark matter and properties of neutrinos are among the most pressing issues in contemporary particle physics. The dual-phase xenon time-projection chamber is the leading technology to cover the available parameter space for Weakly Interacting Massive Particles (WIMPs), while featuring extensive sensitivity to many alternative dark matter candidates. First Axion Results from the XENON100 Experiment / XENON100 Collaboration
We present the first results of searches for axions and axion-like-particles with the XENON100 experiment. The axion-electron coupling constant, $g_{Ae}$, has been tested by exploiting the axio-electric effect in liquid xenon. [...]

Energy reconstruction of electromagnetic showers from $\pi^0$ decays with the ICARUS T600 Liquid Argon TPC / ICARUS collaboration
We discuss the ICARUS T600 detector capabilities in electromagnetic shower reconstruction through the analysis of a sample of 212 events, coming from the 2001 Pavia surface test run, of hadronic interactions leading to the production of $\pi^{0}$ mesons. Methods of shower energy and shower direction measurements were developed and the invariant mass of the photon pairs was reconstructed. [...]

Performance Of A Liquid Argon Time Projection Chamber Exposed To The WANF Neutrino Beam / ICARUS-Milano Collaboration
We present the results of the first exposure of a Liquid Argon TPC to a multi-GeV neutrino beam. The data have been collected with a 50 liters ICARUS-like chamber located between the CHORUS and NOMAD experiments at the CERN West Area Neutrino Facility (WANF). [...]

Measurement of Through-Going Particle Momentum By Means Of Multiple Scattering With The ICARUS T600 TPC / ICARUS Collaboration
The ICARUS collaboration has demonstrated, following the operation of a 600 ton (T600) detector at shallow depth, that the technique based on liquid Argon TPCs is now mature. The study of rare events, not contemplated in the Standard Model, can greatly benefit from the use of this kind of detectors. [...]

The cosmic ray proton, helium and CNO fluxes in the 100 TeV energy region from TeV muons and EAS atmospheric Cherenkov light observations of MACRO and EAS-TOP / Aglietta, M ; Alessandro, B ; Ambrosio, M ; Antolini, R ; Antonioli, P ; Arneodo, F ; Baldini, A ; Barbarino, G C ; Barish, B C ; Battistoni, G et al.
The primary cosmic ray (CR) proton, helium and CNO fluxes in the energy range 80-300 TeV are studied at the National Gran Sasso Laboratories by means of EAS-TOP (Campo Imperatore, 2005 m a.s.l.) and MACRO (deep underground, 3100 m w.e., the surface energy threshold for a muon reaching the detector being E/sub mu //sup th/ approximately=1.3 TeV). The measurement is based on: (a) the selection of primaries based on their energy/nucleon (i.e., with energy/nucleon sufficient to produce a muon with energy larger than 1.3 TeV) and the reconstruction of the shower geometry by means of the muons recorded by MACRO in the deep underground laboratories; (b) the detection of the associated atmospheric Cherenkov light (C.l.) signals by means of the C.l. The cosmic ray primary composition between $10^{15}$ and $10^{16}$ ev from Extensive Air Showers electromagnetic and TeV muon data / Aglietta, M ; Alessandro, B ; Ambrosio, M ; Antolini, R ; Antonioli, P ; Arneodo, F ; Baldini, A ; Barbarino, G C ; Barish, B C ; Battistoni, G et al.
The cosmic ray primary composition in the energy range between 10/sup 15/ and 10/sup 16/ eV, i.e., around the "knee" of the primary spectrum, has been studied through the combined measurements of the EAS-TOP air shower array (2005 m a.s.l., 10/sup 5/ m/sup 2/ collecting area) and the MACRO underground detector (963 m a.s.l., 3100 m w.e. of minimum rock overburden, 920 m/sup 2/ effective area) at the National Gran Sasso Laboratories.
