Review of particle physics
/ Particle Data Group Collaboration
The Review summarizes much of particle physics and cosmology. Using data from previous editions, plus 2,717 new measurements from 869 papers, we list, evaluate, and average measured properties of gauge bosons and the recently discovered Higgs boson, leptons, quarks, mesons, and baryons [...]

Cornering Large-$N_c$ QCD with Positivity Bounds
/ Fernandez, Clara (Barcelona, IFAE ; BIST, Barcelona) ; Pomarol, Alex (Barcelona, IFAE ; BIST, Barcelona ; Barcelona, Autonoma U. ; CERN) ; Riva, Francesco (Geneva U., Dept. Theor. Phys.) ; Sciotti, Francesco (Barcelona, IFAE ; BIST, Barcelona)
The simple analytic structure of meson scattering amplitudes in the large-$N_c$ limit, combined with positivity of the spectral density, provides precise predictions on low-energy observables. Building upon previous studies, we explore the allowed regions of chiral Lagrangian parameters and meson couplings to pions. [...]

Wilson Coefficients and Natural Zeros from the On-Shell Viewpoint
/ Delle Rose, Luigi (Barcelona, IFAE ; BIST, Barcelona) ; von Harling, Benedict (Barcelona, IFAE ; BIST, Barcelona) ; Pomarol, Alex (Barcelona, IFAE ; BIST, Barcelona ; Barcelona, Autonoma U. ; CERN)
We show how to simplify the calculation of the finite contributions from heavy particles to EFT Wilson coefficients by using on-shell methods. We apply the technique to the one-loop calculation of $g-2$ and $H\gamma\gamma$, showing how finite contributions can be obtained from the product of tree-level amplitudes. [...]

Light scalars: From the lattice to the LHC via holography
/ Pomarol, Alex (Barcelona U. ; Barcelona, IFAE ; BIST, Barcelona)
We study the conformal to non-conformal transition in strongly-coupled theories using holography, trying to understand the presence of light scalars as recent lattice simulations seem to suggest. This can have important implications for solutions to the hierarchy problem via TeV strong-dynamicsand their searches at the LHC..

(Milan Bicocca U.) ; Alves, A. (U. Sao Paulo (main)) et al.
The discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012, by the ATLAS and CMS experiments, was a success achieved with only a percent of the entire dataset foreseen for the LHC. It opened a landscape of possibilities in the study of Higgs boson properties, Electroweak Symmetry breaking and the Standard Model in general, as well as new avenues in probing new physics beyond the Standard Model.
