Abstract | Counter-telescopes and recoil-coincidence techniques were used to observe the /sup 18/O(/sup 18/O,/sup 14/O)/sup 22/O reaction at 100 Me V. These data establish a mass excess for /sup 22/O of 9.48+or-0.10 Me V, which differs by approximately 2.0 MeV from the previous value, but is in excellent agreement with several theoretical predictions.
