Abstract
| LHCb is the experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN designed for performing studies of CP-symmetry violation and rare decays of B-hadrons. During the Upgrade I of LHCb, a new tracking detector based on the scintillating fibres (SciFi) has been installed downstream of the magnet. The time alignment of SciFi, namely, the adjustment of the signal integration window timing, is one of the key issues in the commissioning of the detector and later on, of its maintenance. We present the principles and procedures for the fine time-alignment throughout the commissioning and the first collision phases. Also, we summaries the achieved levels of synchronization. |
