Abstract | This contribution summarizes the status of preparations and series production of key technologies for the HL-LHC upgrade project. The upgrade will be deployed in the LHC tunnel at the end of the currently ongoing third operational run of the LHC, by creating new underground areas and upgrading the existing LHC equipment, aiming to increase the data set collected by the main LHC experiments by another order of magnitude and starting operation as of 2029. |
