Abstract This paper describes the K/ϖ separation technique based on ionisation losses in the drift chamber of the CMD-3 detector. First the procedure of the ionisationloss calibration is described. Then methods of K/ϖ separation are discussed for the example process e+e- → K+K-ϖ+ϖ-.
