Abstract | The signature of two same-sign leptons and b-jets is a golden channel for the search for exotic productions of top quarks because of the low background from Standard Model. The main sources of background of same-sign leptons comes from lepton charge mis-reconstruction and fake/non-prompt leptons. Therefore, sophisticated data-driven techniques are needed to accurately estimate them. This contribution will give a complete description of the analysis strategy and will describe the different techniques used to estimate the backgrounds. Limits extracted for various models beyond the Standard Model will be shown with the 2015 proton-proton collisions data recorded at sqrt{s}=13 TeV with the ATLAS detector. |
