| Abstract | This report presents the thermal studies and measurement that have been realized, at CEA Saclay, for the thermal design of the Fresca 2 magnet under development in EuCARD HFM program. The first part of the report is dedicated to the numerical study of the thermal behaviour of the Fresca 2 magnet in He II. The second part of the report concerns the experimental measurement on two composite insulation systems made of cyanate ester epoxy mix and tri-functional epoxy (TGPAP-DETDA) with S-glass fiber. |
