1972 Plymouth Duster 340 "Project Car" -"Sox and Martin" TributeThis vehicle was brought to us by a Law Firm handling an estate. Unfortunately, it is being offered with no information about its history, as you see it, and as it was brought to us on a flatbed trailer. We know that it will start and run, although it will not idle. We do not have detailed knowledge of the mechanical needs and it has not been inspected by a mechanic prior to being offered for sale. It is offered for sale in "as is, where is" condition with no warranties expressed or implied of course. Although factory-built as a 340 CID 4 bbl (H code in VIN), we are told that it now has a 360 CID block with unknown build specs. Although it was a 4 speed (the clutch is in place) it is now an automatic transmission with a console shift. The chassis has been modified with frame connectors, the battery has been moved to the trunk (the trunk pan is rusted). It is NOT in drivable condition and we have not attempted to drive it. It should be considered as needing a full restoration. It has had numerous modifications from the factory build as its intended build was a 1/4 mile race car and a "Sox and Martin" tribute. The Estate is looking for the highest and best offer by the end of this week. It can be viewed and inspected at our location on Stephenson Hwy, in Troy.
