Our flagship best seller desk now available in L shape configuration! Just like its simpler version, this desk is offered with customisable dimensions and finish to perfectly match your office at work or at home. This desk is made with reclaimed timber, purchased from the local wood up cycling business. The hairpin legs are made of steel and they are available in many different colours. The square legs are available in black (default) clear coat or raw steel finish. The brackets that support the shelf are pipes made of galvanised iron and they can be 15cm or 20cm in height. If you would like to have the square legs with your desk, please add the "SQUARE LEGS UPGRADE" option to your basket along with the size of the desk you wish to buy. The standard desk top height is 74.5cm and is made to order so the length and depth are fully customisable. If the listing dimensions aren't suitable for what you are after, please feel free to contact us directly with your desirable dimensions. The shelf depth is 22cm but it can be made deeper or narrower, depending on what you need! You can choose to have the riser shelf on both sides, one side or not riser shelf at all. The desk will be delivered as two separate tops with accommodations to be fixed together. You can also opt to have the two tops set up separately if you wish to have flexibility and ease of movement. The desk in the main photo is finished with a Dark Oak wood stain which is water based as well as eco friendly. There are more colour variations such as the ones that can be seen in the samples photo. The unit can also be painted or stained to the customer's preferred colour if non of the above choices are suitable. Wood is a living, breathing material. It responds to its environment and, like all living things, it ages. Natural wood has characteristics which include knots, variations in grain and differences in colour. Drying the wood properly reduces splitting and warping but because wood is living, its moisture content will fluctuate based on the humidity of its surroundings and will cause some natural movement. Our products are thoughtfully designed, manufactured and finished with care, to allow for this natural movement of the wood. Any imperfections in solid wood reveal its age and history and the reclaimed planks that we use for our pieces may be faintly uneven and may cup or bow very marginally over time. These variations in the wood are to be expected and celebrated and we promise that they will not affect the functionality or structural integrity of the piece. In truth, these little imperfections enhance the unique character of the furniture which means that you can be certain that no other piece will be exactly like yours. Logistics This item will be delivered flat packed to eliminate the risk of damage during transit. A simple assembly will be required to install the hairpin legs and the shelf. Screws will be provided! You will need a short screwdriver :) We are delighted to ship to customers outside the UK.
