Brass wood

Here are some pictures of the RN-74 communal table in process. The table is made up of solid walnut planks with brass inlay—after we install the brass, we scrape it flush to the wood— you can see the brass shavings mixed in with the walnut. This was very, very satisfying. Detail shot of the brass after it is scraped flush. Here are the two halves ready for final assembly. We are installing a solid brass block between the halves. The final dimensions are 43" wide x 12' long.
