    Maybe best airport?

    Written by (TFOL) in Germany,

Here is my review of the airport:

    Pros

    • Big airplane with 10 passenger seats
    • Cool terminal with little coffee shop and coffee maker
    • The revolving door is cool
    • Tower has much details

    Cons

    • There is place for two pilots, but only one is included
    • There are not enough airport customers
    • The stair at the little car (I don´t no what it´s called) is a little bit unstable, but not much
    • The passengers has to wait out of the terminal

All in all it is a cool playset and for the price absolutely okay. I recommend buying for any person who likes airports. I think it is the best airport in terms of value for money.

This is a really good set to get

Written by (KFOL) in United States,

I really like this set and I really recommend it to people ages 5+ and for many pros and few con too. They will be explained in the list.

    Pros

    • The instructions were easy to follow.
    • The airport car can be seperated into three different parts(Car, actual baggage cart and staircase).
    • Useful parts(1x2 45 degree inverted slope brick, 1x6x5 panel, etc)
    • Plane is bigger than the plane in 7894 and 3181.
    • Very cool stickers(huge fan of both stickers and printed pieces).
    • Vending machine can be removed and replaced.
    • Plane seats 12 people(2 pilots and 10 passengers).
    • we're getting $114-$153 worth of parts, which is really good since this costs $100.
    • Good play value.(Which explains why this set was chosen for the top 12 for the 2010 Dream toys in the U.K
    • Stickers don't have to be placed across many pieces(for example, sign is 3 seperate stickers).

    Cons

    • Not enough minifigures.
    • Way too pricey because we are looking at 14.2 cents per piece for the price per piece ratio which isn't that great even though the value of bricks is good as said in the pros list earlier.
    • No runway included.
    • no staircase to the terminals second floor or the control tower.
    • landing gear doesn't retract.
    • Plane is slanted downward(front is 2 plates shorter than the back)

I give this set a 5/5, despite the cons. They don't bother me that much. That sums my review. See you guys next time.

    City Review of 3182 Airport

Written by (TFOL) in United States,

This is a review of 3182 Airport, comes with 5 minifigures,a fuel island, baggage cart, control tower, airport terminal, and the huge airliner. The minifigures include a pilot with the wierd glasses face, flight attendant, runway worker, control tower guy and tourist with Hawaiian shirt. The fuel island comes with a computer, street light and oil barrel(I don`t trust fuel from an oil barrel). The baggage cart comes with the ladder cart thing and 3 briefcases.

Now for the airliner. Its big.Its so big,I had to place it on the terminal. Its mostly made from big pieces like the nose, tail and wings so its huge.A minifigure is dwarfed by this thing, that how big it is.It comes with a microwave and a sink and 12 seats. There`s no difference from first class to ecomony class except some tables. Also there`s two chairs and 1 pilots.Where is he!Apart from those minor problems its fine.

The Airport terminal is cool with its modern design and revolving doors and stuff. It comes with a cafe,x ray machine, advanced computer designs(a sticker),and a soda machine. Its great, lots of lights, and seating and its just great. The control tower has advanced radar system and for some reason, has no way to get up to the top except teleportation.Use my imagination.

In short this is an awesome set,I got it for my birthday, and its just awesome.

LCIA terminal 6 is here! New and improved!

Written by (KFOL , silver-rated reviewer) in Singapore,

Welcome to BrickTVReviews with set 3182 Airport with 5 minifigs and costs 99$ Lets go on to the review.

    Box/Instructions

The box depicts the terminal, a tourist minifigure going to the plane, a stewardess welcoming the pilot, the mechanic marshaling the plane and the airport worker driving the baggage car with the ATC tower and fuel island in the background. The back of the box has 9 more snapshots of the set and the HEY! There are 6 instruction booklets, 1 for the bagage car and fuel island, 1 for the plane, 1 for the termminal and 1 for the control tower.

    Parts

You get a frying pan in this set which is rare, the transparent cone pieces and red grill bricks, in other words, it is great!

    Minifigures

5 minifigures are included with this set, 1 pilot, stewardess, mechanic, passenger/tourist and an airport worker. The tourist's torso has a new hawaiian theme torso which is cool.

    The build

    Not much to say....sorry.....

    The completed model

The plane holds a red and white colourscheme. Its interior consists of 10 passenger seats and 2 pilot seats making a total of 12 seats. There are 2 engines on the wing, did i mention a refreshment table and microwave inside the plane but the cockpit doesn't support thrusters that is VERY dissapointing, it is replaced by a STICKER! The terminal has 2 seats in the lobby outside, a light post, garbage can and a parking sign. The interior includes a check in counter, 2 security checkpoints, vending machine, baggage claim and a cafe with 2 seats. The fuel island has 1 oil drum, computer monitor with handles and another light post. The baggage car? Nothing new and the ATC is boring but the glass panels swivels! p.s:I found a way to fit thrusters in the cockpit but im not telling you how!

    Summary

    I give it a 10/10!

There's So Much To Do at the Lego City Airport!

Written by (TFOL) in United States,

I got this set for Christmas, and I really enjoy it. It had great parts, and lots of playabilty. I loved the control tower, building, luggage cart and all the lamps it came with. Goes great with 3179 (Lamp Repair), which I also got. Inside the airplane, I liked the seats, tables, sink, and 10 seats. I did use the man with the blue pilot shirt, smile face, and brown hair as a copilot. However, some major drawbacks are that there are lots of stickers, no jetway, and only 1 passenger. I also modified it and put the oven in the building and the soda machine in the plain. You almost never see ovens in planes, and most planes have a soda machine. The building was fun, although there were some huge pieces. The door also falls off alot, although I don't mind. Overall, I rate this set a 5/5.

    I do reccomend this set!
