The best Legacy set ever!!!
I bought this set a few weeks after it came out, and it being a set with Cole (he is my favourite character) made it an easy buy.
Stone Warriors:
The minifigures are great, especially the Samurai one. The armour piece on him is cheap looking, so I replaced it with an older variation. The archer was a nice edition, and I made him sport a sword instead of a crossbow. The real prize is the four-armed warrior. He was fun to build and has two swords, but I wish he had one for each hand. There are a few spots were you can see multicoloured pieces.
Ninja:
The Kia figs is the most common one in the wave and is okay. Cole only comes in a few sets and his suit is really detailed. I love the earth colour tones. His driller is equally exceptional. It boasts a functioning drill and is larger than the original. The detailing is superb. The build experience was so great I built it twice!
Overall:
The set was well priced, and the designer did a great job. Seeing that it is retired, it might be hard to come by, but you won't be disappointed.

Best Wave Since Legacy.
I recently picked this up at my local Walmart. I had originally intended to buy the new 501st battle-pack, but it wasn't in stock, so I bought this instead. Before now, I had no interest in the core wave.
Ninja's side: There have been multiply golden versions of Lloyd, and I am not too disappointed with this rendition. His suit has green patterns that helps offset the gold colour. The mech itself is green with patches of gold armour. The arms and legs lose articulation because of the new fixed knee and elbow pieces, but the mech can still make several cool poses. I only wish that it came with two katanas for the mech instead of one.
Bad Guy's side: I love the new bone warrior fig. He looks like a mix between a stone warrior, a ghost, and a skeleton; which was executed perfectly. Building this baddie's mech was quite fun and a little more in depth than his counterpart's. But alas, his mech also suffers from the same joint problems as Lloyd's does.
Summary: This set is priced perfectly and offers a lot in terms of pieces and excellent models. What surprised me the most is the fact that the designers made the instructions more appealing by putting in pictures and making it less plain.

Seth.

10 Years Later....
This is a set I recently bought at mom-and-pop lego store for 25 dollars and I could not resist getting it. As a little warning, it did not come with figures so will have to review them from pictures.
MINIFIGUES: First off is Jango Fett, whom the clones are "cloned" after. His blue madalorian armour is very close in line with the film. He has jetpack that is cast in silver and has 2 pistols in the same colour. Underneath the helmet is a scared face with a stubble. Next is the clone, who has had the first update since the cartoon versions. He has no leg printings and the armour looks very smashing. His helmet is by far more accurate than the previous generations, with distinct lines and proper vent printings. Lastly is the Geonosis battle droid. It is the first time ever it has been made in this colour. It also has a 2 by 1 plate on its back which prevents him from falling over when his gun and arm is extended. I wish Lego would go back to using these.
BUILD: The build itself is very aesthetically pleasing. The construction process has various technic parts and the worse part is building the tracks. It does have any stickers and has lasted for ten years so far.
SUMMARY: This version of the Corporate Alliance Tank is the best in my opinion. It has been a front row display piece, and it is nicely paired with the AT-TE I bought a few months ago.
Thanks,
Seth

This Set ROCKED My World!!!!!!
I received this set for Christmas in 2016 in my stocking, and I was blown away. It still stands as one of my favourite Ninjago sets. Also, this set was released shortly before the big solar eclipse I witnessed on the West Coast. I don't know if that is where Lego got idea for the Day of the Departed movie or not.
MINIFIGURES: First off is the exclusive Cole figure. He has a normal Cole head except for the green bolt in the corner of his head. On his torso is his symbol and there are orange high-lights around it. His arms are transparent and they do have arm prints, which adds to his uniqueness. Little Nelson is a figure that I could have done away with. His outfit is a simple purple suit with an old style hood. It would have been nice to have got a Dareth fig, seeing that he actually fought the stone warriors and Kozu. The baddies include two stone warriors, one small and one large. The small one is a scout, and he occupies the wooden tower where there is a cross bow and a disc shooter. The large one is a swordsman who has one of the day of the departed blades. The stone warriors almost look like they are a cross between an Indian and a samurai.
BUILD: The construction process only took two hours when I got this in 2016, and I could probably do it in an hour these days. Once complete, the buggy has a deattachable flyer and a small driller function that is pretty unless. If you take off the driller part, then you can use the mega stud shooter. It has independent suspension that utilizes two rubber bands that have held up so far.
SUMMARY: This set was the last of the Ninjago series before it went down hill with the Hands of Time disaster. It came with a good amount of figs and the buggy was an A+ design. Now if we could only get Jeep to make it.....

A Pure Masterpiece!
WARNING, this will be a lengthy review.
After my last review, I decided to review something I really like(I still don't know why people didn't like my last one). When this was revealed during the summer, I started to save up and a month ago I bought this from a local brick shop for $150.00.
MINIFIGURE:
Republic Forces. To start this off, I will begin with one of my favourite Star Wars characters, Commander Cody.To have a Phase 2 Commander Cody is like a dream come true to many Star Wars fans, myself include. The helmet is more detailed than most, and it even shows battle scars as does the rest of his body.I do wish that they would have given him arm prints. The designer really payed attention to detail which is shown the most in the various markings on the legs and even on the torso. I have heard some complains on the new design of the 212th trooper and I really don't see why. They are extremely detailed and vibrant. I am also glad to see that there are holes in the sides of the helmets for visors and rangefinders. The gunner really benefits from this, for he looks sharp with a visor on. I still can't get over the fact that these figures are soooo richly detailed, my hat is off to the designer.
Separatists. In this set you will find 3 battle droids and a spider droid. The battle droids are nothing to write home about and I think they should have included 2 more. I was very disappointed when I saw that there was no crab droid but to my surprise, the spider droid is growing on me. It is sized very well, and I love that there are NO STUD SHOOTERS!!!!!! One either loves 'em or hates 'em. The antenna piece was a smart piece to use too.
FINALLY, THE MODEL:
It is time for the much anticipated part of the review. The construction of the walker was what surprise me the most. It was challenging, yet not too difficult to the point where I was disinterested. I am glad to report that none of the pieces broke during construction, and it has held up for a month so far. The inside can seat up to 6 clone troopers, a pilot, and a gunner on top. Inside also has room for blasters and a crate of grenades. That said, I really wish there were more seats.Once complete, the AT-TE looks a lot like its on-screen counterpart. It makes a great display piece. As for the playability factor, I can't comment on that for I don't play with these; I only display, collect, and occasionally MOC. My brother did do a stop-motion video for Journey-separate ways with it (for those interested, it may be put on YouTube sometime next year, probably March).
SUMMARY:
I am very much please with this set, and I was glad I got it, seeing that I missed the last one. I believe when you buy it, you will not be disappointed. It offers a great building experience and exceptional characters. If I was you all, I would buy this before it goes out of stock and retires. You will not get another chance for 8 more years.
Thank you for reading,
Seth.
