First set I remember having: 6381 Motor Speedway
I wish I knew where that set went. I bet my good-for-nothing brother took it and is keeping it in a box in his garage or something. Pfffft, siblings!

I came out of my (very long) dark ages just a few years ago when my kids started showing interest in LEGO.

I don’t like the term “AFOL” partly because I’m still trying to convince myself that all the LEGO I buy is really for my kids. I’ll go with “above-average nerd with strong LEGO affinity and moderate addiction to collecting issues.” What's the acronym for that?

I don’t MOC for the following reasons:
1. I don’t have the pieces I want because for some reason I can’t bring myself to take them from the sets I own, even if I don’t really care for those sets;
2. Who has that kind of time?!?
3. Maybe I’m not quite as clever as I’d like to believe;
4. My mother taught me it’s not kind to moc others.

I'm not involved in any other LEGO communities or forums because I'm antisocial. I suppose you're welcome for me joining BrickSet.
