Not much to say about this one, then :)
Poor M. Schumacher, he crashed while skiing and was badly injured 4 years ago. He must feel honored for having his own minifigure!
About 90% of the stickers on my copy have cracked, peeled and flaked off. And it's not as if i kept it near a heater.
The most interesting thing about this set is probably that it mixes yellow and fleshie minifigs.
I recently realized the sudden death of the Racers theme. Was there any word from Lego for it or an article on Brickset?
Edit: Apparently it's already death for 5 years, still felt sudden for such long running theme. Speed Champion only focusing on real brands.
It wouldn't have been something I was into, but it looks like it has a lot of play value. Also, 10 minifigs!!
This set is 12 years old?? I don’t really pay attention to the racing themes so this set could have come out last year for all I know.
I got lucky and somehow picked this up new for 27$ dollars new on eBay a little while back
Stickers on minifigures. What a nightmare.
I have this one, and I never used the stickers, no need of them for a great look of the set.
I have always felt that the parts of this set were made of a different kind of plastic, since they are too "elastic". Maybe one of the first China attempts?
The beams for the finish line are quite rare, btw.
I have the same problem with the stickers, they get crushed even if I have Schumacher's car only for display!!
