Review: 30555 Poppy's Carriage
Posted by Huw,30555 Poppy's Carriage is currently a gift with the purchase of Trolls sets at LEGO.com.
It's cute and colourful and, if you're not planning on buying one of the sets that contains Poppy, provides an ideal way to get hold of the film's main protagonist.
Poppy is the same as that in the other Trolls sets. I looked at her in more depth in my review of her pod.
The carriage, and the unusual beast of burden pulling it, are bright and attractive.
It's interesting to see the 'Thill for Gig' piece (2397 and now 41934), otherwise known in plain English as the horse hitching, is still being put to good use 33 years after its introduction in Castle sets.
There's not much more than can be said about it really, other than it will complement whatever Trolls set you're planning to buy nicely...
It's currently available at LEGO.com with purchases of Trolls sets exceeding £30/$35.
Thanks to LEGO for providing the set for review. All expressed opinions are my own.

This actually looks decent for parts
I’m looking at those musical notes and......nothing else. It kind of sucks in my opinion.
The movie(s) are not my thing, but I don't think there's a 5-9 year old girl on the planet who wouldn't love this.

Except.... the only non-poppy-containing-trolls-set is 41250: Techno Reef Dance Party. And that costs 25 euro which isn't enough to qualify ;)
I might need those claw pieces for some Bionicle MOCs. Looks like the same shade of green used by Jungle characters in Bionicle 2015-2016...
Looks like a pretty good parts pack!
I bought this recently, just for the parts. It's bright and colourful, I like the colours, the musical notes, the pink treasure chest, like, the Trolls line doesn't appeal to me, but I was happy to buy this one for novelty value.
I find quite cute, fun and different from we normally see.
This could potentially be worth picking up for the new-ish 2x2 turntable bases alone. It's the cheapest set to include them by far and includes two of them to boot!
