because he had often been bound with shackles and chains, and the chains had been torn apart by him and the shackles broken in pieces, and no one was strong enough to subdue him.
But she answered and *said to Him, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs under the table feed on the children’s crumbs.”

They also had a few small fish; and

When some of the bystanders heard it, they began saying, “Behold, He is calling for Elijah.”
When his disciples heard about this, they came and took away his body and laid it in a tomb.
Then again He laid His hands on his eyes; and he looked intently and was restored, and began to see everything clearly.

And although the king was very sorry, yet because of his oaths and because of

And He *came and *found them sleeping, and *said to Peter,

They went out and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had gripped them; and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.
And He went out again by the seashore; and
For Herod himself had sent and had John arrested and bound in prison on account of

All at once they looked around and saw no one with them anymore, except Jesus alone.
As soon as He was alone,

But Jesus said to them,
Now he who was betraying Him had given them a signal, saying, “Whomever I kiss, He is the one; seize Him and lead Him away
And one of the crowd answered Him, “Teacher, I brought You my son, possessed with a spirit which makes him mute;
The people saw them going, and many recognized them and ran there together on foot from all the cities, and got there ahead of them.
They began reasoning among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will say, ‘Then why did you not believe him?’
When He was in Galilee, they used to follow Him and
But they kept silent, for on the way
Calling His disciples to Him, He said to them,
But the chief priests stirred up the crowd
When it was evening, the boat was in the middle of the sea, and He was alone on the land.

But he denied it, saying, “I neither know nor understand what you are talking about.” And he
Then He got into
They said to Him, “
Answering Jesus, they *said, “We do not know.” And Jesus *said to them,
Pilate answered them, saying, “Do you want me to release for you the King of the Jews?”
They began laughing at Him. But putting them all out, He *took along the child’s father and mother and His own companions, and *entered the room where the child was.
for they all saw Him and were
The crowd went up and began asking him to do as he had been accustomed to do for them.
And
They said to Him, “We are able.” And Jesus said to them,
But Pilate said to them, “Why, what evil has He done?” But they shouted all the more, “Crucify Him!”
Many were sternly telling him to be quiet, but he kept crying out all the more, “
