Scott H. Walden
Scott H. Walden was a resident judge for the Eighth Circuit Court in Illinois.[1] He was appointed to the court by the Illinois Supreme Court in 1995 and was officially elected in 1996.[2] Walden was most recently retained on November 4, 2014. Walden retired from the bench on June 30, 2015.[3][4]
Education
Walden earned an undergraduate degree from Principia College in 1975. He went on to receive his J.D. from Valparaiso University in 1978.[2]
Career
Prior to his judicial appointment in 1995, Walden worked as an attorney.[5]

Walden was retained to the Eighth Circuit Court with 81.6 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [3]
Evaluations
The Illinois State Bar Association and participating attorneys rated Scott H. Walden as Recommended for retention in a 2014 poll.[6]
