Sam Caligiuri
Sam Caligiuri is a former Republican member of the Connecticut State Senate, representing District 16 from 2007 to 2011. He served as Senate Deputy Minority Leader in his final term. Caligiuri ran for U.S. Congress in 2010.[1]
He was a member/President of the Waterbury Board of Aldermen from 1997 to 2002 and Acting Mayor of Waterbury from 2001 to 2002.
Biography
Caligiuri earned his M.A. from Boston College, his M.A. in Religion from Yale Divinity School and his J.D. from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. His professional experience includes working as Deputy Legal Counsel for the Office of the Governor of Connecticut from 1995 to 1997, Adjunct Faculty for the University of Connecticut School of Law and Partner of Day Pitney Limited Liability Partnership.
